Liang's Garden — Restaurant in Marlette

What wonderful human beings these people are!! I live in Tennessee and my daughter and her family live in Marlette. They were all down with the flu. What does a mother do? I wanted to care for them but I am many miles away. I had just gotten off a 16 hour shift. While sitting in my car in the parking lot I recalled having some of the yummiest soup and Chinese food there at Liang’s Garden. They were about to close. I called and shared my situation, I told her I want to place my order but I wanted to make sure my darling son in law was able to pick it up. She hung in there with me while I was reaching out to him. I told him I had placed the order for pick up ( I hadn’t yet) he thanked me and said he would. He had to arrange care for the youngest child seeing my daughter and the boys were completely out of it. I placed the order with her help ( I wish I would have gotten her name) I was exhausted, we managed to get plenty of soups, and rice seeing that it’s easy on the digestive system. And a few appetizers for good measure. My son in law got there and texted me, “I thought you ordered some, you ordered the whole restaurant”! I am so grateful for Liangs Garden for being there in time of need!! You are more than a restaurant. You are beautiful human beings who deserve the love of your community, because that night you served love to my family. I thank you, with all my heart!! I can honestly say that I only have one complaint. The vegetables, especially the broccoli are way to hard they need to make the vegetables more tender. And because water chestnuts are more expensive now they just did away with them!! And even told me so. It's like why take something so delicious and litterly ruin the taste of the excellent food especially the general t,s chicken ,steak how. It is ridiculous that one thing has had alot of people not wanting to order food because of ruining the flavor, they need to keep it the way it was and not skimp out on something so simple. Stop ruining the food !!!! You guys charge more than the other place and now you can't even pay for water chestnuts in Chinese food. Please use common sense and let people see you don't need to skimp out on a ingredient of the food. I used to order 100.00 dollars a week from you guys but I barely order now because of the simple thing. Please use the original way that the man ho taught you guys before you took over. He had more bussiness because he wanted people to enjoy what they eat. You guys are losing the people who supported your business every week, I honestly don't think water chestnuts are so expensive that you don't add them. Oh well , it is your choice but we all enjoyed it more before. People bought from you because it was excellent, now they only buy because of not much choice in marlette. Put your pride back in...

Horrible food! I drove 30 miles to get a carry out from this place based on the reviews. Big mistake! I ordered sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and two egg rolls. The chicken was tough. They only had enough sweet and sour sauce to cover only half the chicken and their wasn't a piece of pineapple, carrot or green pepper in the meal.. The fried rice had an old taste to it. The egg rolls were OK but my order didn't come with duck sauce for the rolls, soy sauce or plastic utensils. Not even a fortune cookie was to be found. I actually just threw 3/4 of my dinner out except for the egg rolls. What a waste of $13 plus the $3 tip that I gave the girl at the counter. I come from the city where good Chinese can be found everywhere. With the good reviews that they've gotten in the past, it only makes me think that these people have never eaten...
