Where to begin the chicken was a slice as thin as the ones from heb like for a sandwich. I asked for no pepper and no seasoning as most seasoning has pepper. They didn’t listen had to call the manager told her the problem said she would have it remade with no seasoning it came back with seasoning less than before but still seasoning. Ate what I could off the plate gave my husband the rest. The waitress never came back to refill my husband tea. Worst ever will definitely not be coming back

On Cinco de Mayo we decided to go out and have some drinks and enjoy some good food. This place definitely hit the spot and we ended up coming home with extras and with biggo smiles. We might have found our new Mexican restaurant for life. Awesome waitresses and management!

Good Tex-Mex restaurant with lots of food options. The margaritas were good but good have been a bit stronger. The chips and salsa were great. The salsa tasted fresh and had a nice bit of spice to it. The enchiladas we had lots of flavor. Definitely would return.

This is the first bad review that I have posted. My wife and I ate here tonight. The chips and salsa are good. The food and drinks leave you wishing you had not stopped. Marlin is a small town, with limited choices. That being said, if you have any other option, take it. This place was good when it first opened several years ago. It has continued to decline. I will not spend another dollar here. I ordered the #4, The Texas Plate. It has your choice of two enchiladas, and Carne Guisada, with beans, rice, and tortillas. I ordered the beef enchiladas and flour tortillas. The enchiladas had no flavor, and the exterior was hard. The Carne Guisada was shred with no flavor, and extremely greasy. The bean's and rice were tasteless, and poorly prepared. I had to request my flour tortillas after the food was served. I was brought two flour tortillas wrapped in foil that were hard as a rock. My wife ordered the Mexican Plate, which was on special, which consists of choice of two enchiladas, one taco with beans, and rice. She chose cheese enchiladas, which she said weren't as bad as my beef enchiladas, but not good. Her taco was blan, but fine. Her bean's, and rice were just like mine. She ordered a Strawberry Frozen Margarita, which had decent flavor, but was not frozen. I ordered a large Margarita, on the rocks and a Corona on the side. My Margarita was watered-down, and the Corona was not cold. I don't usually write reviews, but this was a very poor meal. We will not waste any...

I have to write about good and bad. I searched up a place to eat while visiting Marlin, TX and saw this place. The atmosphere was amenable. The place was segmented into three or so areas. Two were a very quiet place to sit and the third had a few flat screens, a bar, and a little more activity. That set up can be great if you want to consistently go and might be in a more or less social mood each time. I do have to mention that I visited the restroom and it was impressively clean and you get a 'comfortable' feeling knowing that they care enough to keep it sparkling. The servers were friendly and fairly attentive. The chips and salsa were good. I had one companion who ordered the tortilla soup. She was pretty satisfied and I agreed as I got to tasted it as well. I ordered the enchiladas verde, thinking obviously a signature staple should be a safe bet. They suggested beef, so, fine with me. I have to honestly say it was inedibly bland. I regret not taking a picture, but the beef was not seasoned in the slightest. It came right out of the browning pan. The cheese was a little dry and the tortilla very dry. Instead of being a cheesy, melty, flavorful beautiful mess, it was decidedly just a dried-out, bland mess. In fact if you can imagine an enchilada-rolled tortilla so stiff it stood up and crumbly brown meat that would just fall out of the shell... Anyway, I wish them the best and I hope this...

I probably eat Mexican food 3 times a week. It's my favorite food next to Liver and onions. I was heading home from Waco to College Station. I was starving and had seen this restaurant in my previous travels and decided to try it. WHAT A MISTAKE I ordered fajitas wrapped in flour tortillas with rice and charro beans. My rice was cold and the beans had no seasoning at all. Just beans. The fajitas had absolutely no flavor and were very tough. I even asked for a side of queso cheese hoping it would add flavor to my food but the queso was nothing but cheese. It had nothing in it like other queso at other restaurants do. I ate the beans and brought the rest home but never ate it. My server was friendly and yes I tipped my waitress because how the food was prepared wasn't her fault. $20.00 dollars down the drain and I was still starving. The restaurant seemed clean and I guess when I walked in and saw several Help wanted signs That should of been a warning that maybe they didn't have enough trained people to prepare the food as it needed to be. PLEASE KNOW I don't get pleasure out of writing negative reviews on any company especially those in small towns because it's our small town values lacking in today's world. Maybe I just tried this place on the wrong day. Ya'll go try it and please write a review and let me know how your experience goes. Tell me what you think about the food. Have...
