Subway — Restaurant in Marlin

The staff is incredibly rude and contradicting. They argued with me on what I ordered and then argued with each other on the sandwich line. It took everything I had not to just walk out. A protein bowl should have the meat sliced up as it’s a bowl, nope everything was in large chunks. The lady argued with me about what it was called demanding I was ordering a salad, when I just didn’t want bread. She argued with me about my choice of cheese when she decided she was just gonna make it how she wanted to. Then they didn’t even give me utensils for the protein bowl. The other lady at the register was in such a hurry she didn’t give me a chance to order drinks or cookies, and then had attitude when I asked for a bag to carry my order. Then said carry it from the bottom because the bag was so crappy you can’t use the handles provided. I’m 6 months pregnant trying to carry a bag of food and 3 large drinks, and the staff just went to the back and were no help, not even offering to help. So incredibly rude and they didn’t change gloves in between touching multiple customer orders. Awful customer service and rushing a paying customer but not even listening when they are told...

There was only one guy on duty for the whole lunch run and he was over whelmed with customers some customers got tired of waiting and left. And i arrived after three o'clock and he was over whelmed by customers and he stated he had bread sitting on the counter in the back that needed to be cooked it has been sitting there for 3 hours . He just hadn't had time to do anything with it yet. And when the next guy come in he told him to please put them in the oven that he hadn't had a chance to do anything with it. and that it had been there for three hours . That he had been there by himself and that he had been busy the whole time. The employee that was there with him left at 11:30. And he had been by himself ever since. The 2nd guy ask him if it had been busy like this the whole time he told him yes. The 2 guy came up front and helped him. After doing what ever he had to do in the back. I think the first guy handled himself really well with us as customers he was curtious and hard working. Just a little...

Be sure you have your shots before eating here. Today when I asked for a footlong sub, the lady reached for the bread on a tray in the bread cabinet. The loaf next to the one she grabbed also came out and fell on the floor. Without missing a beat, she picked it up and put it back on a tray in the same cabinet. When I asked her if she really wanted to do that, her excuse was "That's where we put bread to throw away". NEXT TO THE GOOD BREAD??? Yuck. If she will do this with a customer watching, can you imagine what goes on when no one is watching? When I called later to speak to the boss, she had been told that what fell on the floor was a package of tortillas in a plastic bag. So this one can add "Liar"...
