Let me first say that I love GriDeli's food so it pains me to have to write a negative review but it needs to be written so the management can be made aware and correct the issues.
When i first arrived at the north location there were only two tables of people and a couple in line. I ordered my food, which was a Big Nasty with no raw onion, BBQ sauce on the side, add ketchup and mustard and extra pickles with a side of onion rings and a drink, and took a seat with my drink to wait for my food. I appreciate good and fresh food so I have no issues waiting. While I sat there I noticed food all over half the tables and the floor, sticky tables and sticky seats. It was very unappealing.
Next an elderly couple walked in and ordered their food and sat down. Shortly after a group of 6 walked in, who must have been family because the 3 people working all walked out from behind the counter and hugged each of the 6. I gotta say, if you know safe food handling procedures, you know how unsanitary this is. This is also unprofessional in a place of employment. The group of 6 then ordered and sat down combining two tables to accommodate. Not 5 minutes later the girl came out with a tray of food for the elderly couple and then about 2 minutes later came out with another tray of food for half the party of 6. I was perfectly content waiting for my food until I saw this. How do 5 people get their food before me when i ordered more than 5 minutes before they did?!
So to top it off, I get home and sit down to eat and find there is no BBQ sauce on the side anywhere, there is no mustard on the burger and only 2 pickles after ordering extra pickles.
I hope the owners/management will take my review seriously and make the necessary adjustments to their employees to make their establishment and service better. I am more than willing to speak further if the owners/management would like. I come from a family of restaurant owners and did 12 years of food...

The sandwich was 7$ and then it was an extra 3$ for some fries. $10 for a 6in sandwich and some fries seems a little expensive. We also has 6 people in our party and there was not a table big enough to accommodate all of us. We didn’t want to sit at the bar because we had some people who couldn’t get in the tall chairs. We moved a table to make it so we could all sit together. We didn’t see the signs that said we couldn’t move the tables. When a employee kindly asked us to move it back because there are signs saying that we can’t move tables because it damages them and the floors. We were happy to move them back. The only thing we didn’t understand was to how moving the tables damaged the cement floors and the sturdy tables. I mean how are you supposed to clean under the tables with out moving them and damaging them...
Read moreIt's been years since the first time I tried this place. It was disappointing then and still disappointed now. I've never been served wet dry bread before I don't even know how to describe it like they took stale hard bread toasted it then dipped it in water in an attempt to soften it back up. So the outside of the bread was soaked but the inside of the bread was rock hard. And it wasn't like oil or anything soaked into the bread although that would have been nasty too it was definitely water. I don't understand the appeal of this place everything about it seems dirty. Also, the whole family got sick after eating here and I had forgotten that's what happened the first time I ate here too. If you come here your digestive and immune system better be the strongest because there are no health rules at this place. You pay a lot of money to be served...
