Bobaluk's Beef & Pizza — Restaurant in Marseilles

This is the worst local business I've ever seen and worked for. I worked as a fry cook in the back for a year and a half and I was treated awfully. I was screamed at whenever the owner, sis, was having a bad day or was stressed out about business. I was 15 when I worked there and I was paid under the table for 6 months, $8 an hour, 5 days a week for 5 hours after school. They never made me use gloves, I've seen them not using gloves. The only reason why I decided to post this is because my sister recently tried to get a job there and was screamed at by the same woman, sis. I don't know why people would want to buy from a place that treats their employees so awfully. Who would scream at a little girl for trying to get a job? I will never go near that...

We had just drived in from Chicago so we were starving! We spotted this places off Google maps. The place was clean well lit they have a nice fish big tank in the dining room, the staff were friendly. Felt very family oriented own business . I had the Italian beef it came with A good portion of meat and broth served separately the Flavor was it was good 👍. It came with an order of fries those were also good , they were home made. My husband ordered a side of curly fries those where too salty. We also ordered pastries off their menu to go and they were really good. For a quick meal this is the spot 😉 if I ever end up in Marseilles, Illinois again I would give this place...

Love their pizza. But recently had a bad experience. Called to order an 18" Pizza, was told if i bought the 20" i would get free garlic stix. Picked up my pizza and was charged for the garlic stix. Got to the car and realized i was charge when i looked at menu prices. Called to say i was overcharged. Girl on phone said that the delivery girl messed up taking my order and they charge for them on the weekend. No one ever called to let me know this before i drove there. Just assumed id pay for them plus a bigger pizza that i didnt need. Very disapointed. I drive from Ottawa to get their pizza. But wont be going again...
