I am a local Marseilles small family owned business who would go to that particular gas station at least 4 days a week minimum. I personally with my money bought pizza and breakfast food as well as beverage’s. As I spend money at local business’s when ever possible. Anyways I have a small business that in no way, shape, or form would compete with Casey’s. I noticed a week ago they had a cork board with advertisements with a lot of open space. So I asked the tenant at the register if I could put a brochure and a few business cards up, they said “sure go ahead”. Today ( this morning right before 5am) I went to get my usual breakfast and a drink and I just wanted to see if people had taken business cards and noticed all my the stuff was gone, so I thought awesom people where interested in the service I was offering. So being polite , and in stead of just putting more up, I asked a different tenant if I could put more up. she went and asked who I assume was the manger. When she asked him I was standing right there and the manager was In the office and didn’t even so much as turn around from his chair and shook his head No and said it’s for community only. So moral of what I feel is a small business is the community, especially if the person lives the community, pays high taxes and always eats at different community restaurants, shop at the local hardware store, and have a lot of family that lives in the community. So with all that said the manager could have had been way better at maybe giving me the respect of a small explanation as a very regular, now former customer. There are plenty of other Casey’s so I refer people to a different place in my...
Read moreIm extremely upset with this store. I have bought smiley faces cookies here a dozen times. I have ordered them 3 times now. Each time i bought them they were fine, greatly made soft and good. I tried placing an order last night for a dozen. They assured me they had enough then to gkve me my order then instead of waiting till the next day. I had to come back twice because they werent ready when they said theyd be. Then i get then home and theres only 10 instead of a dozen. Not only that they are hard as rock. The lady i spoke to was rude, and sarcastic. I put in my order for the next day to be done right. Then i come to pick them up now and they are still HARD AS A ROCK. i get excuses from the gentleman working there about how when cookies sit out they get hard. I tell him i just ordered them and its 1oclock! They should never be hard already! And my last 3 orders i had for 4 days and got softer! Not hard! I rate this a complete 0! Its mothers day all i wanted was my cookies and instead i get nothing, rudeness...
Read moreI ordered a large pizza last week asking for extra cheese and extra sauce. I got neither. I know the difference since I order the same thing all the time. I was charged $2 for extra cheese. Most cashiers tend to stand socializing behind counter while customers are forming a line. Additionally, at high traffic times (btwn 4-6am/pm) don't spur sense of urgency in cashiers to check out customers as they stand talking, doing other chores, or counting register. Many times there's one cashier working during this time. I expect Mgr to step in. Ppl are on tight schedules. There's no convenience as one can expect to spend at least 10 mins to check out. Burgers in hot case are not hot. Posted prices are not always reflected in register which slows checking out. Was told apple fritters are not part of 6 pack donuts and are extra yet no sign indicating this. (False...
