Went here for the first time for breakfast. The waitress came over and seemed friendly enough. I asked if they had gluten-free toast, and they said no which was fine. After I ordered, the waitress rattled off very quickly a bunch of options for me to choose from, which was incredibly annoying. (Please slow down when giving a long list to customers!) Trying to remember a few of them, I decided to go with the raisin bread since she made it sound like that was free with my meal (Iād give it to my child). After getting my bill, I saw she up-charged me for the bread without telling me, bread that I couldnāt eat in the first place. My meal was only average, Eat n Park was better in my experience, but the service was terrible and sadly deceptive. If you throw out a litany of options for the customer to choose from, you darn well better let them know that theyāre not all the same price. Wonāt be returning, given service, average quality and expense. Oh and better bring cash, otherwise pay 3%...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time dining here and honestly everything about this place is on point. Food was delicious, portions were generous and the service was amazing. Alyssa was our server and she was more of a mind reader than a server. As youād think to ask for something it was already being done and brought to you. Very nice, great attitude and detail oriented. Little things like adding a lemon when we got refills for water, topping off coffee without us even asking, even brought us to go cups for the coffees. Above and beyond in my opinion. Will most definitely be returning here and glad we came. I had eggs Benedict, and my gf had the famous breakfast. Great English muffins too, and the pancakes were the best around imo. Iām glad I only got an a la carte plain pancake on the side if I had the space Iād have eaten a stack of 10. I consider myself a breakfast connoisseur and I can say after one visit I love this place and will be my go to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife and I love the food here but the price increase is absolutely wild. I used to get the omelet (build your own) and was $8.69 base price + toppings and now it is over $12 before you even add any toppings. I get eggs are expensive but these price jumps seem like they want to alienate their clientele for rich people only. Food is good but spending $41 for 2 people + tip and basically $50 for breakfast is way too high. We won't be back.
We also saw the article about the eggs and its easy to break down. If they use 50 cases of eggs holding 15 dozen eggs each, that comes out to 9000 eggs per week. Even if a case of eggs cost 100 dollars each now. The price per egg comes out to .56 cents. The 3 egg omelet today cost me $12 dollars with no toppings. The consumer is spending $3.44 an egg and the cost to restaurant is .56 cents. Most places I saw only increased their egg cost by a buck so this is just to keep...
