Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Marshall

PLEASE READ:

I’m from the Midwest Bible Belt so needless to say I’ve been to a few hundred Chick-fil-a’s in my life. Let me tell you in full transparency, this is the best Chick-fil-a I have been to in the entire country. The service was impeccable, the store was so clean you could eat off the floors, the bathrooms were the cleanest my wife and I had ever seen, which is great for her. We ordered ahead and when we got there the employee radioed in our meal, a 10 count strip with fries to split with my wife. She ran in and I waited. Though I waited a bit for the food, every employee who saw me asked if they could get me anything and assured me my food would be out soon. When the food came, they apologies for the wait (which was really no wait at all) and we hit the road. The wait was well worth it because these strips were so good I could feel myself be sanctified. They were f-r-e-s-h and crispy, sweet and a little salty, they were perfect, so good we didn’t even need sauce, the fries , perfectly salty and hot. Always fast, friendly service with great food. I came in today to pick up a catering order for 25 people and the order was guaranteed ready between 11:30 and 11:45. I came in at 11:25. They said it will be ready at 11:30. The guy at the front tells the people in the back, Heather is here for the catering order. I hear a lady yell to her team, " Heather is heeeere!" They have a so much fun at this place it's contagious. Unfortunately I don't eat meat so I have no idea how the food tastes. I come here to pick up for office staff. I have tasted their Mac n cheese and fruit and fries and chik fil a sauce and its great. Everything permeates my car. I am proud of the fact they stand for their religious beliefs even if it means losing money by closing on Sundays. Taking a stand for religious freedom is difficult in this day and age. I'm glad they have healthy alternatives also unlike McDonalds who removed salads from their menu and Taco Bell who gives you hardly any veges in your order even if u ask for...

I am not one to normally complain, especially about fast food restaurants as I get how busy they can get and I understand what I am paying for… but out of the last 5 orders I have had here (all via drive thru or mobile take-out), all 5 have been incorrect in some way or another; whether it’s not being given any sauces (which has happened multiple times), or ordering extras on a sandwich’s and getting a plain one, or most recently ordering grilled nuggets and getting fries once, they seriously can’t get an order right.

I wish I could say this was a one off but it happens nearly every time I go here. I will be avoiding this place from now on. The food itself is what you’d expect from Chick-Fil-A, average fast food. The workers are hit or miss, some are very friendly and great, others are moody and rude (again what you’d expect from a fast food restaurant).

Would highly advise if you want fast food to try somewhere else is Marshall, as this place will only leave you disappointed and wanting...
