Happy China — Restaurant in Marshall

We walked out . Cold food , (which for context they did offer to make anything fresh had We asked ) . However their oil they are using is extremely old and you can taste it across the dishes made. Their bar is not warm like other buffets. Do not get the honey chicken it was freezer burnt on top of bad oil . Do not get tea it has grounds and they dont clean the container as often as tea ones need . Only positive was very nice people run this restaurant and I have ate here in the past and had a good experience that was pre covid conditions . They need to close for a week scrub down their kitchen and change their oil and make an effort to save money and fix their buffet , I have never walked out of a restaurant before because I was that bad , and I felt bad because they really are very nice but they need to but some work in on...

Lovely little Chinese buffet to stop at while traveling on the I-70. The lady was really nice and taught our kids how to use chopsticks. The food is not anything to write home about, but was just what we needed, and they had free ice cream to boot. I would give it 5 stars, but when we arrived, although it purports to open for lunch at 11, they did not have the buffet ready until about 11:40. They clearly were working very hard at it, and I don't imagine it is always like that. We also liked that there was a library next door which happened to be selling some kids' books for cheap. The food was ok BUT we watched a lady come in and was wearing a mask.her kids were not and we're breathing all over the buffet and touching everything including the all the food things.onw of the kids actually put the tongs under his arms. Obviously the mother is and idiot and should have had masks on the kids AND controlled their behavior.BUT THE STAFF DID NOTHING ! we told them and at least they cleaned the tongs but that was already too late.everythung on that buffet had already been...
