Latte Dough Coffee Shop & Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in Marshall

This was by far one of the best gems I have ever found. I travel the country and rarely write reviews about a coffee shop in Marshall, Illinois.

The quality of service was fantastic. From the outside you wouldn't think twice about stopping.

However, the fireplace inside and the fantastic ambiance was truly great. The owner personally made our food(chicken salad sandwich) an ordinary sandwich but actually very, very good. The coffee was outstanding. In comparison to the Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts of the world I would rather stop here anytime.

Basically a small local cafe in an old house it seems. Stopped in for breakfast, the baked goods case was empty but had a sign that said things were available in the back. Hard to order without seeing what your options are. We had hoped to swing in for a quick grab and go bite during a long road trip, it ended up being almost 20 minutes all said and done. Such a cute little coffee shop!!! I’m visiting from out of state and needed a caffeine fix and I remember seeing a post on Facebook about how great this place was so we decided to swing in. The owner was so kind and made a drink combination they don’t typically serve for me. Let me tell you, It was better than the coffee shop I frequent in Phoenix!!!
