When we visited they were out of a lot of items. Then it took 20 minutes for the staff to get our food ready. I am pregnant and my husband is a larger man so we can't really comfortably sit in a booth together and all the chairs had been put up on the tables before we arrived. My husband took down two of the chairs near the door and the kids sat on the booth side of the table. When the store employee that took our order brought the food to us we were told very rudely and I quote " Ummm... the chairs be up for a reason. You have to get up and sit in the booths over there." And then she pointed to a group of booths that had not been cleaned. The floor near and at the dirty booth we were instructed to sit in had food and paper all over. Our food was not even warm which was disappointing considering it took so long. As my family ate our food we were shocked by the language the employees felt so comfortable using with customers around (we also had 2 small children with us). Also had to hear the same female employee that took our order complain loudly on her cellphone headset about how she hated when people "come up in here and mess up her clean floor" the floor was dirty when we got there and we were the only ones in the store and she was standing right next to our table during this phone conversation making us feel really uncomfortable and a little upset by her behavior. Read moreI arrived and was very disappointed. Once I began to order, I was told that there was a shift change going on and very me to wait. The host’s name was DaNajia. I waited a few minutes and said “hello?” and she said “I said wait a minute, we’re having a shift change.” Then I asked if there was any limited edition meals and she kept saying no, even though I could see the cajun burger on the screen. Then I ordered a baconator double and a frosty, and she told me that they already closed the frosty machine. I said “Don’t yall close at 12?” and she said “no, 11”. Then I checked online and it said they close at 1. So I pull up to the window where Dulce was the cashier. I asked what time they closed and she closed the window, then asked the girl making the drinks next to her, came back to the window and said “11:30”. So two different times were said. So I mentioned how they closed the frosty machine early and she said “yes we do”. So that sucked. Then I grabbed my food and left. I was left very dissatisfied because I spent money, and I felt like it wasn’t valued that there was no service available and that I was lied to. Read moreThis Wendy's could be so much better. Travel through Marshall very regularly and had stopped going because of poor experiences. I'll say one thing and that sums up why this location had challenges...the leaders are afraid of losing staff so not much is asked of the staff. The smallest things such as communicating with customers or being pleasant to customers or not literally be sitting in a filthy lobby just hanging out on your phone. The staff definitely would respond if pressed, but it seems attrition has won the day.
This visit lobby had no ketchup, my order was mostly correct, but the fries were old and cold, our burgers did not have bacon and the nuggets were the incorrect count. They did correct the nugget count without any complaint.
The restrooms were absolutely unusable and didn't have paper towel.
In all I have to provide a low rating for this location. They have good people there and maybe I'm being optimistic, but it seemed like with structure and support for the manager it would thrive.
