Will not be going back ever again. I ordered the chow mein and did not like how it looked and asked the waiter if I could settle for lo mein instead. Keep in mind I know the difference between lo mein and chow mein, I wanted chow mein but it did not meet my expectations so I asked to switch it for lo mein instead. Instead of being understanding, another waitress took it upon herself to storm out the kitchen and yell at me for not ordering lo mein in the first place, making a scene in front of my whole family with a sleeping infant directly next to her, while the whole restaurant watched. I did not retaliate whatsoever, I am not a Karen, I was as respectful as possible and tried to explain, but the fact that they were so quick to escalate the situation left me and my entire family extremely uncomfortable. I understand they are a local business, but customer service should be a top priority for them and I honestly would’ve been fine if they charged me for both. I am not the type to ask for alternatives like this because of my severe anxiety and autism, all I wanted was to have a nice dinner experience that met my expectations and was met instead with aggression and humiliation. I could even see them talk about me at the register as I was eating. After I left I ended up sobbing in my car. I know very few will give this post the time of day, but I wanted to get this off my chest. And I hope the staff read this and reevaluate how they want to treat their customers in the future so they won’t lose another like they did today. To those who read this, thank you...
Read moreThe wait staff was not all that friendly. The waitor seemed impatient with me as I first ordered for my 3 children, then needed a minute to find my item on the menu. It would have been a little easier if they offered healthier options, but they do not. When the food came (didn't take long), we were short an item, and I never did receive the water I had asked for in the beginning. So maybe the minute extra to take my order could have been used to take better notes of what the order was in the first place. Now, on to the food quality. Frankly, I've had better from the food court "Chines" places. The "chicken" had a strange texture to it on all of our dishes that had non-breaded chicken. The sauce lacked flavor and was not creamy but slimy. The cost point for this quality of service and food is way off base. The dining area was nice and clean, so they do have that going for them. I'd rather eat good food in a trashy looking place than pay top dollar for not even mediocre food in a fancy place topped with below par, borderline rude service. This is my 2nd time to this place; unfortunately, I was not impressed with their food either time. IF there is a 3rd time, and still bad, it will definitely be the final attempt. They did have decent sushi rolls, so that may be the reason for a...
Read moreLast night, we went to Ocean City at our daughter's request (early birthday meal). It wasn't terribly busy. The food is always good but last night we had absolutely terrible service. We waited 30+ minutes for soup and one was not what we ordered. We also received half of our appetizers. Shortly after, our daughter's dish came out along with the wrong type of rice. Mind you, there were other tables around us that received their entire order and had arrived after we were seated. The to-go orders were also being handed out but I did notice that other people were receiving the wrong orders. I saw one person that I know come back into the restaurant to get the food that he paid for and had to wait. We waited another 20 minutes for our sushi and then another 10-15 for Jason's dish. By the time he received his meal, everyone else was finished with their food. This is usually a great place to eat but I must say that every time we come, there is usually one person waiting tables. They need to step it up! No reason for such poor service. It sure didn't feel like a $58 meal and I felt no reason to leave a tip. I ALWAYS tip, even when it's slow. This was unacceptable. I should have complained but I didn't want to make a scene on such an occasion. We paid our...
