Sashimi Asian Cuisine — Restaurant in Marshfield

I ordered food to go from this new Asian Restaurant conveniently located right on Route 139, close to the Route 3 interchange at the edge of Marshfield and Pembroke, and I was pleasantly surprised. While Sashimi Asian Bistro's menu reads like a Cheesecake Factory of eastern cuisine, featuring selections from Chinese, Japanese, and Thai cultures, the food was delicious, well-prepared, and expertly put together in record time. The Sesame Chicken is some of the best I've ever had, and this includes various trips to Boston and New York Chinatowns -- the chicken was succulent and flavorful. The Pad Thai and "Krab" Rangoons were quite satisfying.

For the few moments that I had stepping into the establishment, I caught a glimpse of a tastefully-appointed, spacious, modern interior, complete with ample seating, hibachi tables, sushi bars, and an entertaining, professional staff. While other local establishments might specialize to deliver one or two truly stellar dishes, Sashimi's proximity provides excellent Asian cuisine just footsteps away from the Marshfield Hills and North Marshfield...

Sashimi offers up some great value on Sundays with their 1/2 off sushi specials. They have a fairly large selection of unique rolls as well as the standards that you’d expect. All of the food we ordered was fresh and delicious. The volcano roll was a bit heavy, but was absolutely delicious. We also ordered shrimp tempura roll, Philadelphia roll, spider roll, mango roll, tamago, and sweet potato roll. Everything was high quality and fresh.

The restaurant was clean and the servers were very attentive about our needs. I was surprised it wasn’t more busy with the sushi special, but we were seated immediately and it didn’t take long for our food to be prepared. They also offer a fairly large selection of Chinese food which we didn’t try. I’d definitely come back again and try more sushi options...

We have been ordering from this place for a couple years now and I don’t know if they had a change in management or just the quality of the food has been so bad recently we ordered a shrimp and broccoli dish that we always order and every single time that we’ve been getting it for the last couple of months, I’ve been noticing a change in the taste of the shrimp. It just did not taste fresh to me and last night when we ordered the food, it was beyond repulsive. The shrimp was so overcooked and it looked like it had freezer burn on it and the taste was absolutely disgusting! We will not be ordering from this...
