Ordered and picked up a large pepperoni pizza last night. I will say that it was delicious. It had lots of sauce, which made it very sloppy to hold. No way I could pick up a piece out of the box. I had to shovel it onto a plate and basically herd the first few inches into my mouth. But the taste made up for any inconvenience. I make a pretty good pizza, but occasionally I just don't have the time and I'll certainly order from Angel again.
Update: Been to Angels a few times now. I'll say that they're definitely consistent. I tried ordering online. That was a mistake. On a busy evening, I ordered a pizza to pick up and the online system simply said that my order had been taken and gave me an order number. How long before it's ready? At any rate, I went down to pick it up. When I gave them the order number I was given, he looked confused and asked what I ordered. Then he went back, gave that to the cook and they started to work on my pizza. So it's probably best to...
Read moreIt was alright. Went twice within 3 weeks. The pizza is nothing spectacular and for sure not the best. Tried the caesar wrap as someone else suggested via reviews. Definitely not the best around. It was a caesar wrap. Buffalo fingers were sauceless style and barely spicy. I almost felt like we ordered regular chicken fingers. I had mixed feelings about cheese fries with bacon; the shredded cheese on top of the liquid yellow cheese was a bad choice. If it was all liquid yellow cheese, the only thing I wish they would change was the frozen french fries that everyone else uses in the surrounding area. May go again but prob not.
Update: After 3rd time, I was not impressed. Honesty goes a long way in business. A few reviews here seem to be bias. If you look close enough, looks suspicious that a bunch of the photos are all taken behind the counter or with the pizza still in the metal pan used to bake it. Another, a guy gave taco bell 4 stars. Sooo at least you have...
Read moreGenerally just not satisfied. Ordered a large pastrami sub after having to go through two other options that this place didn't have the ingredients for for the pizza items on their menu.
For being listed under the "hot subs" the pastrami sub overall was cold. The cheese just looks tossed on as an afterthought and barely was melted at all. Topping selections were very limited, not having thousand island dressing or sauerkraut. Biting into the sub you'd think maybe the amount of pastrami they use for a small sub was just spread out across the large.
The woman at the counter never asked for topping preferences either. Which at first made me believe the sub came only one way until the chef himself thankfully came out front to ask.
As far as the chicken tender salad went it was good looking and the chicken tender were cooked just fine.
If I try this place again maybe I'll just stick to a...
