Philly's Pizza — Restaurant in Marthasville

Placed online order. Called 1 hr and 15 minutes after order placed. Told order was out for delivery. 15 minutes later received text that order was ready for pick up. Called and was told order was placed for pick up and not deliver but they would deliver, should be to me within 30 minutes. Waited 30 minutes and called back to talk to “Michelle” the owner who argued with me that I placed the order for pick up so it was not their fault. I asked why I was told the first time the order was out for delivery and why it would have taken an hour and a half to get a pick up order. She continued to argue with me that it was my fault. Our food arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes after we placed order, cold and not edible. I was willing to forgive the mistake if they would have admitted it but she did nothing but blame me for the mistake and took no responsibility for anything, was extremely rude and would not let me speak. I've visited twice now and tried a variety of different things, and all of them were wonderful!

The Chicago deep dish is more like just a thick crust pizza with sauce on top, but it was good. The hand stretched crust is my favorite - that perfect balance between just slightly crispy on bottom, with a soft, chewy outer crust.

I don't usually dip things in marinara, but I love theirs! I found myself dipping the toasted ravioli (delicious on their own!), the mozzarella sticks, and the outer crust of each piece of pizza. It's thick, full of flavor, and not overly sweet.

Solid food at a really reasonable price! Showed up still hot for delivery in Washington!

We were looking to try something new where we live in Washington. Pizza was on the brain and it came down to just a couple. Philly's had good looking pizzas in the photos. So, we crossed our fingers and hoped they would deliver from Marthasville. They did! PSA: tip your delivery drivers... especially if they have a 16 mile round trip so you don't have to get off your couch.. you pay the person for the luxury and convenience of delivery!

Highly recommend to try to switch things up! Got the Elba pizza, hot wings, twisted breadsticks, and Italian salad. All good. Wings were on point. That pizza...
