I've been going to this Starbucks since day one. Mainly because of the employees many of whom I have become friends with after they move on. I am there 6-7 days a week. I'm so disappointed in the change. There is only of the employees there now that are friendly. I have been treated rudely several times now. And one by the new manager ! Who literally humiliated me there after going thru drive thru then being told I had to get out go into store over a mistake that they made that should've been handled simply and right at the drive thru.this all took 45 minutes ! I left there in tears and I was furious. Today again rude employee I'm done I now know why the friendly employees have all left. I will now go into Safeway. I am one customer,I know. I was a good customer who spent alot of $ and tipped well. I believe you're new manager there has made everyone miserable. Update to my review. "owner response " generic insincere. Look at the other. Same response further proof of why this business has gone downhill. Response was useless. 3 weeks later after deciding to try again very nasty ,after I honked at someone sitting drive thru. On phone not moving for several minutes with line behind me. Girl who waited on me I. Drive thru scolded me and then now 3 weeks later again??!! First and only time I have ever honked at anybody there ! I'm done. And to the owner with the genetic response don't bother maybe no big deal to you. But you lost a long time customer who spends at least 50 $ a week there. ...
Read moreI periodically come to this location since it opened, because it is so close to my home, but increasingly last resort. One time I came in stood in line, they were not busy in drive thru or walk-in, but I was able to leave before being acknowledged or asked what I would like to order. I walked to Safeway Starbucks and got way better service- kind, creative and attentive to details. At Martinez, ca I spell my name each time and still have it mis-spelled 80% of the time. Any time of day the energy of stress, sarcasm and deflection is palpable in how employees treat each other and customers. I listened to a woman carry on with a guy about a dog and kid while I was ordering and standing in front of her. I came in this morning because I have a gift card and was happiest to realize I could purchase merchandise not just food and drinks. I want to say something kind but unfortunately consistently unpleasant and indifferent experience. My take away is I’ll be attentive if I might be carrying out the energy that is better left...
Read moreThis Starbucks is alright. I love the atmosphere of it for getting work done, but there’s only a few comfortable tables, for that. Many are comfortable enough just to sit and have your food on it. They also have a pretty large amount of outdoor seating. I understand that they get busy a lot, but their bathrooms are terrible. The communal sink rarely has soap. There is constantly fecal matter on the floor of their bathrooms and they’re just not clean. They also aren’t that good at making drinks. I’ve watched some of the baristas make my drinks, and I’m talking about when there’s no rush, and it feels so careless. Obviously, an employee isn’t always going to be giving 100% when they’re met with constant armies of orders, but it feels like oftentimes rushing from that time translates a bit too much. There’s an abundance of Starbucks anywhere in this area. Go somewhere else if you want fast service. I recommend the Palos Verdes/Geary and Camino Verde...
