Over all not a great experience....the server was nice enough so tipped more than 20%. But me nor my daughter had never been there before so didn't know how the process worked,we ordered a "DO IT YOURSELF BOWL" so we went up to the "bar" and after waiting a few minutes with a chef who seemed to be picking his teeth with something with his back to us totally ignoring us finally someone greeted us with eye rolls and the cooks saying there are instructions on the wall...ok so we put the meats on the side to put the veggies in, still unsure what to do then at the end again said I guess we give this to you?( talking to the chef) and again greeted with eye rolls and dismissive gestures and took my tray, without any directive after so I asked my server, "do I wait or sit down" she said she would wait for me which was nice bc it wasn't done for ten minutes or so. The waitress was very nice, but the cooks were not and the lack of care for a new customer to make it a fun experience makes me not to come back nor recommend it for other newbies. The food itself was ok...so another big disappointment...if after all the snobbish behavior from the cooks the food would have been totally amazing it could make one forgive the attitude but it wasn't that great so in all it wasn't worth all the fuss....I should be able to sit at my table and tell the waitress what I want in my bowl to save me the attitude from the chefs when I'm unsure what to do as a new customer...I think the idea of it could be fun and interactive but the attitudes from the chefs...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAtmosphere and āambienceā needs LOTS of attention. Considering how much money this restaurant is making above overhead, I donāt understand why they donāt expand to other sites, or at least get an overhaul on their current outdated and frankly dirty and smelly site.
Ugh.
I really like their food, all of it from their fresh sushi to their easy Lo Mein.
However, Iām going to get honest here; Iām OVER the āupdated pricesā Iāve noticed over years, without the updated content. The carrots are more and more, the meat less and less. (Speaking of meat, theyāre charging you $2.50 if you want extra, for EACH meat.)
Iāve been a huge fan of Chopsticks for YEARS. After recently discovering theyāre gouging on DoorDash by increasing their menu prices on that site (see their LoMein special on their menu for $12.99 vs DoorDash for $15.99)
Theyāre conning calculating underhanded business.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the worst sushi Iāve had in my 55 years, bar none. The sushi rice is mush, and stale - at least 2 days old. Ditto for the Lo Mein. The ratio of sushi filling to mushy, stale rice is about 5 rice āhelpingsāto 1 filling. Also they dont peel the cucumbers which makes for a hard chew and getting it stuck between your teeth. The potstickers are direct from the freezer and been in there so long, they have that nasty freezer burn taste. If thats not enough injury, they gave me all the wrong sauces from what I ordered - and they CHARGE for these. I did try them and they were terrible, so I imagine what I did order would also be terrible. The only decent thing was the 4 slices of plain sashimi I ordered. It was the only thing that felt fresh in the entire order - though considering how stale, freezer burnt, and old the the rest of the order was, I feel strongly I just genuinely got...
