El Palmar Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Martinsville

I am so very happy to see this family-owned business prosper in Martinsville. I could not get enough of their tacos! I think they carry the best authentic tacos and I always recommend them to my friends. I am so glad that they now have their brick and mortar which I had the pleasure visiting! My only concern was that it was so confusing, as a customer, if it is a full-service restaurant or cafeteria style service. First, I walked in and just followed the line of people ordering and waited for my turn to order. However, I learned that if you want to dine-in you will be asked to sit down and wait to get your order taken. It will be helpful if there were signs or have a person delegating customers that are doing take-outs to get in line while the people that are wanting to dine-in can be led to their seats or be told...

Great food, but charges to much for side is sour cream and cheese, $7. she said they went up on prices, a new establishment shouldn’t raise prices right after they open a new business. Guess I’ll have to get my food to go now, so I can put sour cream and cheese on from home. Good way to loose business because I won’t eat there anymore if I can’t have sour cream and cheese without paying almost like another meal for it.was going to get drink and chips and salsa but since I had to get it to go , didn’t need to spend the extra money for something I have at home!! The most amazing hidden treasure in Martinsville I had to go for an appointment in the area while down there I searched up places to eat this place popped up so I decided to try it why not. Upon arriving staff and owners are super friendly they make you feel like part of their family. My husband got steak torta and I had bierra tacos and bierra pizza All was delicious of course I had extra to take home because I could not eat that much.
