The ordering process is done through a self serve kiosk. This is fine. However, the option for "dine in" really apparently means "take out", because when I selected it, and waited with no human contact while i tried to ascertain if I should seat myself or keep waiting, it sent "TAKE OUT" on the ticket to the kitchen, per the waitress who handed me my food. This was not reflected upon my copy of the recipt.
I will not be coming here again if the system is so poorly programmed that selecting the big bright "DINE IN" button sends the wrong thing. What if I had allergies and had to order something like "no tomatos"? I can't trust an order taking system with such a base level problem to not select something different.
I was polite and sat quietly on the closest sofa to the ordering kiosk, and could not find any "Please seat yourself", "Please wait to be seated", or any other signage to indicate how this restraunt operated. I was lucky to flag down a waitress when she had walked by to deliver coffee to people who were sitting by the window, otherwise there would have been no human contact until I had recieved my food.
As for the atmosphere, it felt more like an open house for a real estate agent than a restaurant. I could not tell where customers that were dining in would eat, and it felt like there was a clear division in the middle of the venue.
Lastly, They didn't even give me utensils to eat my takeout with. So I'm now sitting in my car with food that I can't eat without getting grease, crumbs, cheese, and sauce everywhere.
This entire expierence has turned me off to this restraunt, and while I do wish them the best, if you don't want to feel othered and like an outsider, there are plenty of other places for brunch and breakfast in town.
TLDR: came in expecting and ordering a peaceful dine in birthday breakfast. Came out feeling like my presence was unwanted and questioning if their system is safe for anyone with a food allergy. Food is decent. The wait staff when you can encounter them, are fine. Bring your...
Read moreI was waited on by Summer . She was extremely kind and attentive. The atmosphere is a little odd. The seating area is in the back half of the building and there is nothing in between the front door and the seating area for a good 30 ft. It is a nicely updated place with good color and lighting. Just the walk to the seating area was odd. This was my first time so I ordered something that I thought would be relatively straight forward. Gravy and Buscuits. The gravy isn't home made, and to make up for that the staff covered it in pepper. I mean alot of pepper. The biscuits themselves were pretty tough and I only ended up eating a quarter of one biscuit before I gave up. The food was brought out quick and also presented very well, I just wasn't good. After a tip, my bill for my meal and tea was over 20.00. I do want to commend the good vibes the staff puts off as well as making you feel welcome. I'll give this place another try after they work out the kinks that any new...
Read moreThe food at this restaurant is ok, but the interior makes no sense, and the staff is more interested in talking than working. We came in late on Saturday morning and were told there was a 15-20 minute wait which is fine. As we sat there staring at multiple unbussed tables for over 20 minutes while 3 or more employees stood at the hostess stand talking and not bussing tables I started to get super annoyed. This place obviously has lack luster management if the employees think this behavior is acceptable. Once we were sat the table still had a bunch of syrup on it, and I was served an ice coffee that was only 2/3 full with no free refills. I’m cool with no free refills but then serve full coffees. As I post this there are 4 employees chatting at the hostess stand, no manager, and 5 tables that need bussing. At least one of those tables has needed to be bussed since I got here over 30 minutes ago, and multiple families have walked out because they were...
