Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Martinsville

Stay far far away from here! My husband and I stopped here for dinner after traveling. I ordered 2 fish dinner and my husband ordered 2 fish with shrimp. I will be honest I didn't want to eat here at all when I noticed how dirty everything was. Especially the ceiling tiles and vents. Every table was dirty. While waiting for our food we could overhear the employees talking. The language was absolutely ridiculous every other word spoken was a cuss word. One employee came to our table and told us our fries were cooking and our food would be ready shortly. After waiting approximately 35 minutes we finally received our food. My husband's fish was cold, the fries were far from fresh out of the fryer, and the shrimp looked like a plate had been melted and stuck to the shrimp. I asked for a refund and the lady told me she didn't know how to give a refund. I explained to her I would not be eating the food and would need a refund. spoke to a manager a few days ago about the order so when I made a special trip to get the order replaced the manager that was there wasn't the same one I spoke to on the phone. so when I told her my name to replace the order she got a nasty attitude, and said she wasn't replacing the whole order cause the other manager shouldn't have told me that and I shoulda brought the food back that night. first of all we just happened to be in the area when we stopped that night. I wasn't driving 35 mins to take the food back cause it was late at night. I told her I made a special trip to come and replace it anyways and she didn't care and said it wasn't gonna work that way. well secondly if you don't like to work with the public don't have a manager job. and if you having a bad day don't take it out on the customers. it was wrong of her.and the replacement food tasted like greasy cardboard. they need to close the Martinsville location. don't...

This is the worse yet. Asked for chicken got fish but check this out dumped my original plate returned it with chicken slaw hush puppies and no fries. Asked, they said it would be a little while before they had any ready. Then they forgot about me. I set there until I noticed another customer with fries went to the counter she said oh I'm sorry honey let me get you some then said oh no we are going to have to make more. At this point I asked for my money back then she wanted me to just wait it would only be a minute again asked for my money again just give us a minute so I dumped the food in the garbage have her my receipt and demanded my money that the place was nasty out dated and the health department needs to come inspect the filth here.
