We managed to finish everything even though we were already full because it was so good! And forgot to take pics 'cept the mango lassi :)

We got two vegan options - the okra and the spinach with potatoes, and a lamb kebob, which came with sides - we chose the chickpeas and something I've never seen before – lentils with shredded chicken.

The place looks like a takeout but I'm pretty sure the chef cooked-to-order -- everything was amazing.

I was also impressed by the ventilation. Granted, there were no other patrons when we got there but CO2 was in the 600s.

(If anybody can figure out how to keep the birds out of the awnings that would enable outdoor seating but they have not been successful so far.)

I am very glad this place came up when I asked Google for vegan on Smith Island!

[I did take a picture of how we left /nothing/ in the bowls, but that's probably not pleasing enough to the...

The menu is a little limited. I was hoping to find lamb vindaloo but settled for a lamb dish and asked for it to be spicy. Spice levels were good! Chaat Samosa was very yogurt-y, not a bad thing but not what I expected. Tasted good. Good portion sizes. Everything was nice and hot. Nice to be greeted by the owner (?). Mango lassie was pretty good. What could be improved: ambience is about 30% there and the prices are high, compared to similar places. It's obvious that they are pretty authentic with lots of small things / trinkets that are from other places. The floor needs help, the lighting could be better. It should be more intimate for the experience. Overall, 4 stars because it could be improved. I look forward to going back at some point to see how they are doing. They've been open a year so let's see...

I went for the first time yesterday. I was so excited to hear there's an Indian food restaurant on KI. I found the gentleman behind the counter so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I was immediately glad I chose to go. I asked about the lunch special and it was meat. I don't eat meat and was about to order from the regular vegetarian menu. But then he mentioned he could make a vegetarian lunch special. All I can say is, wow! I got to try 3 different dishes in a reasonably priced way. Every bite was delicious and well cooked. I will be back for many reasons! I do find the feel of the restaurant to be a bit cold and outdated. With that said, the food and the gentleman create all the warmth(feeling not temperature)needed for me. I will be back soon. Thank you for being so welcoming and having...

Wow. This place is such a breath of fresh flavor for this island. There food is so amazing and extremely reasonable. I did not expect to be able to find authentic Pakistani food on Kent island but I’m so glad it’s here. The owners are super nice and the staff is very friendly. The chicken biryani is really flavorful. The naan is pretty big and all the portions are big. The goat Karahi is pretty good as well. My favorite part of this place is the sides. Can’t really go wrong but the best is the chickpeas followed by the lentils with chicken. My recommendations: chicken biryani, chicken boti Kabob with sides Chickpeas and lentils. I would not go with the butter chicken if you’re used to a really heavy dish with half and half because theirs seems a bit lighter. I liked it but my family likes it heavier.
