Delicious vegan pupusas made here. The menu is mostly non vegan fare but the vegan option is excellent. The restaurant is small but has clean indoor and outdoor dining area, the young person working was very helpful, pleasant and answered our questions thoroughly. The food was made fresh and took about ten minutes to be ready but was worth the wait! The crunchy pickled veggies with red and green salsa on top made for a flavourful texture contrast to the soft bean stuffed corn tortilla like pupusa. I will definitely be back if I'm in the Annapolis area again.

Came in for Taco Tuesday and was not disappointed. It was easy enough to get a table and the service was quick. We ordered 12 tacos (lengua, bistek, barbacoa) and some pupusas for the kids. Spoke with the hostess and she mentioned they may bring back mollejas and tripas during the summer. Pretty excited for that.

For the prices we paid at two seafood restaurants ($360), this place can't be beat. I always ate pupusas when I lived in DC 20 years ago. Their side of cabbage is not as plentiful and good as the ones I have had before. My husband loved his chorizo bowl and son loved the chicaronnes platter. Think we paid $35.

Solid spot. Good food and decent price. If you are not familiar with the type of food, don't worry it's all pretty good. Can't go wrong with tacos if all else fails. I usually don't put up 5 stars unless something spectacular happens... and in hindsight it did so ima change that 4 to 5. It may not be that crazy to you but to me it was magical.... some lady who talked really loud was in there and it's whatever right... I'm just waiting for my food. At some point she finishes her meal around the same time a Hispanic dude was walking by the front counter.... she gets up to walk out, scans the room and looks at him and waves, says "Thank You".... to wich her buddy instantly recognized what happend and starts saying " sorry disregard that" the Hispanic dude goes "Well at least she say Thank You"...... I didn't die instantly because part of me didn't belive it. But it did happen, at it felt like witnessing a unicorn for the first time... again it was so genuine and holsome that it warmed my heart. So that little interaction that had nothing to do with the restaurant I give it a 5 out of 5. She prob won't be there again, so I have little chance of reliving that day dream but I'll still be there every Friday with a glint of hope and a cup...

First VISIT JUNE 14, 2023 My mother is authentic Salvadoreña so I and familiar with Salvadoran food. My favorite is Pupusas. Excitingly, this was exactly what I ordered. Nothing else. From the outside, eh, ok. Easy to find. Right off the highway. Inside, ugh. Extremely dated, over decorated with Salvadoran memorabilia. Dirty, shabby and dark. I don’t like eating in restaurants that upon walking in don’t look appealing. Not busy but it was early afternoon. Great selection in menu. Warning, menus are dirty. Variety of pupusas filling. Ordered chix, spinach and cheese (5 total). Reasonably priced. They were good but not blow your socks off, take me back to my moms homeland memories. A bit thicker and doughy. Fillings were good. And the slaw that traditionally comes with pupusas was ok. I ABSOLUTELY HATE when they are tied in a baggy rather than a proper, small take out cup. So messy, Will I go back, no, don’t believe so. Overall: Mixed emotions; not worth...

First and LAST order from this restaurant. Ordered CARNE ASADA - came with beans, rice and salad - STEAK was very tough, beans were a small dried up mound of yuck, rice was dry - salad was ok. Also ordered CHICKEN ENCHILADA - dry, dry, dry chicken on dried up bean paste. No soft drinks were listed on delivery menu so I ordered milkshakes - flavor was ok but they were runny. We got no napkins, no utensils. 90 percent of the food went into the trash. The only thing good was the fast delivery but maybe that was because they sent us leftover food that had been sitting around since who knows when. If this were my restaurant, I would be ashamed to send food out like that. Absolutely, the WORST. What a waste of my money!!!! And to make it all worse - We are still hungry because we couldn’t eat most...
