Bayside Bull Catering Sets the Gold Standard in Food and Service!!
I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the truly OUTSTANDING experience with Danielle, and the entire Bayside Bull Catering team this week! Coordinating an event on short notice is no small feat, yet you transformed what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless, enjoyable occasion. Your warmth, professionalism, and can-do spirit made all the difference, and I felt supported at every step. Your rapid responses and genuine care set a gold standard for hospitality—nothing was too much trouble, no detail overlooked. You made me feel like a VIP from start to finish, exceeding every expectation and treating our event as if it were your own.
And then—oh, the food! Every platter was a celebration of flavor and craftsmanship. The Pit Beef sandwiches were nothing short of extraordinary—expertly smoked to perfection, each slice boasted a caramelized crust giving way to juicy, tender beef with deep, woodsy undertones. The Smoked Turkey was mouthwateringly moist, subtly kissed by smoke, and so flavorful it nearly stole the show. Paired with pillowy, fresh-baked roll, every bite was balanced and satisfying. And “The Situation” (Italian) was a true work of art: layers of hand-selected, premium meats and cheeses, each with its own distinctive flavor, layered alongside crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and delicately balanced condiments, all nestled in a perfectly fresh-baked roll. The thoughtful presentation elevated the experience, and the abundant portions were the talk of the day—my team genuinely could not stop raving about how delicious everything was!

Read moreThe delicious staple / icon of Edgewater Maryland. I have been going here for decades. They are impossible to beat. A classic hot deli set up that will give you a top shelf Pit BBQ experience. They have turkey, ham, pork tender loin, pulled pork, Italian sausage and occasionally around St Pat's corned beef, but the real star is the Pit Beef. You get the freshest from rare to well, right off the grill, onto the slicer, razor thin cut, fist full of meat onto a fresh Ottengurg kaiser roll. It's caveman art. At least half pound sandwiches with only two options lol of raw onions and/or white American cheese and the rest is up to you. 3 styles of BBQ sauce, horseradish, M.K.M., Crystal hot sauce, malt vinegar and old bay are all counter top sides that you finish off your sandwich and fries off with after purchase. Did I mention the fries? Boardwalk style, hot, in peanut oil and basicly a pile of. Other homemade sides are pasta or potato salad and slaw. Changing soups and stews, the chili is a 7/10, and specials are also deserve consideration. To wrap it up, and that's what you do here, there is no seating, I get all the sandwiches in a sort of rotation and in 40 years they have never missed. If you want a meal that you will still be thinking about hours after you enjoyed it? Then you need to go get ya sum. 😋
Side note the Executive Chef Edwin Jijon is a superstar. Aging I am bias, he is an old workmate that I have watched admirably grow into and excellent Chef that executes with sureal acts of accuracy excellence. He and his catering crew are very well seasoned and can do just about anything your event requires. Their menu is extensive and not solely based in Q. Read moreBayside BBQ was the caterer for a crab feast and bbq for 105 people at our home in July. We cannot say enough nice things about the staff as they were amazing. Nothing was ever too difficult of a request from planning to the day of the event. We even asked to switch out foods and it was never a problem. The answer was always “Sure, we can do that”. The quality of the food was outstanding and all our guests raved about it. Bayside was even able to cook the 7 bushels of crabs (no easy feat this year) and the meats on site which was just great. It sure made it fun for our guests too. Ben, our bartender was fantastic. Shout out to him! He made every drink asked for and even some we didn’t know we wanted. He did this with the best attitude and made it fun! The rest of the staff was equally as great. We live on a hill and not once did we hear the staff complain about it nor the heat during the event. Everything was cleaned up perfectly as well. It is rare these days to find a company that is kind, professional, and tries their best to keep the customer happy. Bayside was amazing!
