I'm posting this review in my car while parked at the Burger King. I had an awful experience at the Eastern Avenue location just now, I usually go through drive-thru and have no problems. Some of their things are spendy but I don't care as long as I get good food. I had the worst customer service ever going inside today! The cashier named Madison at this location didn't greet me didn't smile didn't even tell me to come over when I was waiting for the register I had to walk over, that wasn't a big deal, what WAS a big deal was when I went to sit down at a table and EVERYONE of them was very dirty. I went back to the front and Madison walked over I said "I'm sorry to bother you but all the tables here are dirty, could you wipe one down for me so I could sit down at one? She took her time going out even though she had NO customers, she took her time getting all the supplies that were needed to clean the tables, which was only a cleaner that was RIGHT BESIDE THE ENTRANCE to go back to her working area. More so, I stood at the table and waited for her as she wiped down ALL THE OTHER TABLES FIRST while seeing me waiting at one, and then when I told her, "can you wipe down this one please? This is where I want to sit." she FINALLYwstarted to, but she barely wiped it and when I told her to wipe down the seats (which was very dirty too) all she did was BRUSH THE CRUMBS OFF didn't even wipe them. All the other girls didn't seem very interested at all in helping meeither, no smiles no greetings, very rude. By the time Madison finally wipe down my table I had my ice cream melted all over me, I was so frustrated I got another ice cream and then I spilt my drink by accident at the register so I had to get another drink! Nobody cared. Last time I will EVER come in this location cuz of the experience I had inside. I just ate my meal out in my car, heck with wasting gas. At least I know my car is clean! I have never been treated so rude by a cashier....
Read moreI truly try to give places the benefit of the doubt, but this Burger King on Eastern Blvd in Essex continues to outdo itself in all the wrong ways. I placed my order on the app and when I pulled into the lot, it took over 15 minutes just to get past the two cars in front of me before I could even give them my name. After finally doing so, I was handed a completely wrong order.
This isn’t a one-time issue either — this location has consistently proven that a full team of employees can somehow still operate as if no one is on the same page. Unfortunately, my experience inside was even worse. The manager, Melissa, not only carried herself with an unnecessary level of disrespect, but also attempted to hand me a cold sandwich that had been sitting on the “warming” table for what looked like at least half an hour.
To make matters worse, the inside of this location is flat-out disgusting. It’s one thing to make a mistake, but it’s another to show no care for customers, the food being served, or the environment it’s being served in. Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at the Essex Burger King drive-thru. The line moved extremely slowly, with a wait time of over 10 minutes. There were two employees taking orders, but only one lane was open, which made the wait frustrating.
When I finally received my order, I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. I ordered a Whopper meal, but the fries tasted old and had a strange, unpleasant aftertaste, as if they had been sitting too long or cooked in oil that needed to be changed. The burger itself was dry and lacked freshness. It seemed as though it had been sitting out instead of being made to order.
I ended up throwing most of the meal away, which is not something I typically do. I suspect the fryer may need cleaning or maintenance, and overall, the food quality and attention to detail were far below expectations.
This experience makes me hesitant to return, and I cannot recommend this location to others based on my visit. I hope management reviews food preparation and service speed to prevent similar experiences for...
