China Kitchen — Restaurant in Maryland

Our favorite Chinese restaurant was closed, so, I tried this place because it had some good reviews. May I suggest to those who like this place, try another. My egg roll was all mushy and tasted like grease, threw it away. My shrimp with chinese vegetables was tasty except it contained so much cornstarch the white sauce gelled up too fast to enjoy. The fried rice was overcooked and lacked flavor. My husband got moo goo guy pan and says it was okay, but would not go out of his way to buy again. Along with his dish came wonton soup, which was thrown out after one bite of the nasty dumpling (soggy). And no fortune cookies! I will not return to...

Got the hot and spicy chicken. Isn't even remotely hot and it's more sweet than anything. The texture on the chicken was disgusting. Some pieces were extremely rubbery and the others were just rubbery. Fried rice tasted like nothing and desperately needs seasoning. Crispy fried pork wontons were crispy at least but need some seasoning and the sauce they come with just tastes like syrup with red dye in it. The pork egg roll was probably the best thing but my first bite was entirely cabbage. So I opened it up and found exactly 2 flecks of pork in the entire roll. Have ordered several times and there is always an issue with the order. Last straw was when their credit card machine was down, they didn't call back to tell us but instead showed up (after over an hour from the time of ordering) and TOLD us to pay cash! After calling the store back and the woman acting like she did not know what I was talking about, we cancelled the order. Then delivery guy, who is also apparently the manager, said "no, why? Just pay cash or give her the card number again!" And started to argue. The food is OK but definitely not...
