Used to love this place and it would be where we would go for family outings often. Over the past year, the crust will literally show up wet. Not soggy from oil, but literally wet and almost falling apart. Similar to when someone puts bread in the sink. (GROSS) It happened a couple times but I figured maybe they would get a new chef or something eventually and kept coming back. They had to realize eventually and correct it right? Idk... I will say I didn't receive a wet pizza the last time I went, but tonight I tried to go and the kids at the register tells me they close at 8:45 and that we can't eat there regardless of it being 8:30 and the place being advertised and closing at 9. It really makes me sad because this used to be my favorite place but this place has gone so down hill. If only they kept the good workers. Or at least hired new people who wanted to work. If you go there after 5 they don't allow you to sit on the right side of the restaurant because they don't even want to clean up. They are in a rush to hurry up and leave before the store is even supposed to shut down apparently. I guess the boss don't work evenings? I've worked at delis and carry out spots. This is not how things are done normally. Maybe you can't put an order in at a certain time but that's not what I was told. I was told that he can make the food but I have to leave at 8:45. Sorry boy at the register with glasses... It says right on the door what time you guys close so you aren't...
Read moreI went here based on a friend's recommendation and I was not disappointed. I got the Italian sub with everything listed, no mayo, just the oil and vinegar and another on the focaccia bread the same way. I tried the focaccia first. The bottom was a bit soggy, presumably from the oil and vinegar, but otherwise meaty and excellent. The sub was a bit more firm and just as good. I prefer a thicker focaccia, but still good stuff. Both had an appropriate amount/a lot of meat on them, which is rare now. I recommend either. I will try one of them with mayonnaise instead of oil and vinegar next time, and there WILL be a next time. For the price of $10, I would have liked fries or chips on the side, that is why I dinged them one star. Also, the service was excellent and there were.many orders being filled. It was fast and efficient and I figure the regulars already knew...
Read moreFood is higher priced than the majority of pizza shops in the near location, but there is an obvious reason. The food is always hot and it's made very well. There's a world of difference between a cheese steak that taste like steak and a cheese steak that chews like sand. The food does not disappoint. Let's move onto the staff. They are a friendlier bunch. I would like to see the waiters/cashiers doing something other than nothing when there is no line or no orders or tables to wait on. However, I'm not the owner and I'm virtually a dictator, so maybe I'm just a more harsh employer. They did the core of their jobs effectively and communicated as a team. In the end, I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes pizza or a classic subshop sub. You might be able to find cheaper, but it'll probably taste cheaper, so it's worth the extra...
