I am giving this restaurant one star, based solely on my carryout last night. I ordered 2 soups ... Tom Yum Soup with Chicken and Tom Yum Soup with Shrimp. China Taste shame on you, for trying to pass off this soup as Thai. The only components in your soup that resembles a true Tom Yum is the fact that it is a liquid and it is spicy with red pepper, NOTHING else. Your tasteless broth had NONE of the essential ingredients to make it Tom Yum Soup ... no lemongrass, no galanga, no lime, no fish sauce. A true Tom Yum is a pretty simple soup to make and only contains the meat of choice, straw mushrooms, cilantro, along with galanga, lime juice, lemongrass, fish sauce to achieve the bright, tangy, salty, sweet, spicy flavors of the soup. I found the following ingredients in your soup ( why???) all of which were overcooked ... limp bean sprouts, huge onion slices too large to fit in the mouth without cutting, green and red peppers, button mushrooms. The meat? where was it? 5.99 for the chicken which were tiny slices of dry chicken meat, which almost could not be found. 6.99 for the shrimp? where was it? I found 6 pathetic overcooked salad sized shrimp (the smallest grade size), which together didn't equal one large shrimp. In a true Shrimp Tom Yum Soup the shrimp shine, by using high quality perfectly cooked shrimp. I was initially excited to see your Thai offerings and looked forward to ordering my favorites in the future, but will not be doing so. Please China Taste ... take your Thai selections off your menu. These soups confirm that your chef(s) lack any knowledge of Thai cuisine. Your are basically falsely advertising your...

Absolutely ZERO noodles in my $18 noodle dish. 100% soggy cabbage. I went in to tell them that the order was incorrect and they started arguing with me that I ordered wet cabbage even though my order was chow mein. Very rude about it too. (Chow vs lo is dry noodle vs sauced) I even ordered $5 worth of a side of rice and it wasn’t even worth $2. None of it was even that good anyways. This is my first 1 star review, ever. Honestly not sure how they have this high of a rating. Maybe fake bots? Edit A simple google search will show you the difference in lo mein and chow mein. At least in all other Chinese restaurants and Chinese/American food recipes ( if that shows you how unregulated this place is.) The expensive price was referring to your actual menu, not the $1.50 charge for online shopping so don’t lie. $13.50 for 85% cabbage and some cold chicken? In the same small plate with the $4.50 spoon of rice?? Nah fam, you’re ripping people off. And your manners are bad because I walked back in and you gave me attitude when I politely questioned you about portion, correctness, and quality. I said the review I was gonna write is based off of the attitude and resolve of this situation. So You knew this was coming and yet you still decided to curse me out in a different language as I walked out. Not being a Karen but dang this...
Read moreDelivery service was quick and pleasant. The teriyaki beef was tender but I couldn't eat it no matter how hard I tried because it just tasted very off. The fried dumplings were "fried" on one side. Ok tasting. The spring roll that came with my Hunan chicken was over cooked and tasteless. The hunan chicken wasn't spicy what so ever. I'm not a fan of super hot but this was not at all spicy. The chicken was cooked well and so were the veggies although they put green peppers in it which was slightly weird. Other than it not being spicy, AT ALL, the flavor was good. The fried rice that came with it was decent but only contained onions, a couple carrots and one or two peas. No egg. But it was cooked right so they have that going for them.
All in all I was pretty disappointed but it was edible. Minus the teriyaki beef. The Hunan chicken, although not what I was expecting or Hunan at all, was still good and the vegetables were fresh. The dumplings, not really "fried" but still ok, especially with the sauce. I might be expecting too much but I'll try it one more time and see...
