We stopped in for a quick bite to eat today. When we entered, the person behind the counter was on her cell phone. I asked if we should seat ourselves and she relied yes. We were the only patrons in the restaurant. We waited for someone to wait on us, but noone did. All the while, the girl behind the counter remained on her phone. The waitresses’ actions communicated that she was more interested in her phone than the customers in the restaurant. After waiting for about 5 minutes, we decided we were going to wait no more, so we headed for the door. On the way out I asked if there was a waitress working today. At which point she stated that she was it. I told her we were leaving because she hadn’t waited on us. She was sassy and said she was going to come over to our table once my boyfriend came back from the restroom. However, once he came back we still waited, while the waitress remained on her phone. She said it was “fine” that we decided to leave, while she gave us attitude amidst her frustration from the confrontation. She did not apologize for the poor service either. We then decided to leave. My suggestion is to train the staff on professionalism and waitressing 101. First step, greet the customer. Don’t leave them waiting. ...
Read moreAs an original Ledo's lover for many years growing up I have to say...This Ledo's should at the very least talk with the folks running the one on 26. They are producing a pizza very similar to the original. With the exception of doneness. If you want a perfect Ledo experience close to original, than ask for your pizza well done. For whatever reason the ovens in these chains does not cook the pizza close to the original doneness, like it used to be in Riverdale MD. However this particular Ledo's in Urbana md is lacking a lot in it's pizza. As stated please see what the one on 26 is doing. The staff here in Urbana, has always been nice. Nothing to complain about with that. My order yesterday was incorrect with the exception of bacon on it lol. But who doesn't love bacon. Just see how 26 is doing there's and make it well done. Perfect Ledo's and as close to the original you could get. And if you really want to get authentic, use plain white pizza boxes like they used to. Best advice I could give you. Read moreI live here in Urbana and recently went with my friend that was visiting with her family. We all have small children, and LEDOS is suppose to be a family friendly restaurant. Well, all I can say, if we do buy from here again, it will have to be carry out. We love the pizza and our waitress was so nice and attentive to us. However, right when we were leaving (my little one was starting to get noisy and yelling) I was walking towards the exit, and the manager/owner, came up to me and in front of every guest said "please try to calm your kid, its to noisy and our other guest" **something amongst those lines. Not necessary in my opinion, because I was already heading out the door. Also, being told in front of others, is embarrassing.
