I originally ordered through DoorDash on 8/6. I ordered a double honey chipotle chicken bowl, with rice, green salsa, corn, and cheese. I paired it with chips & extra corn, and the new adobo ranch sauce. Upon receiving the bowl, that was over $28 on DoorDash after tip, the bowl has a sticker on the outside that clearly states my order. However the contents inside the bowl had an overload of sour cream, as well as tomatoes. It also had the smallest portion sizes. I ordered from DoorDash because I was at work. I can’t leave to get a new bowl. I contacted DoorDash and they were not willing to refund the entirety of my order. Instead, they kept offering me credits. That’s incredibly disappointing. With that being said, I then decided I’d drive to the store to get a new bowl the next day before work because that’s the only free time I have, hence the reason I ordered on DoorDash in the first place. So anyway, I get to the chipotle this morning. The line is already long at 10:45 and I’m on my way to work! I’m in a hurry, so because my situation was a little different I walked straight to the register to explain my situation to the team member. I unfortunately didn’t get her name. I told her what happened, she looked in the bowl, saw that the order was wrong and proceeded to say “You can get in line and get a new one.” I then asked her, “Could you make it for me, I’m in a rush on my way to work, and the line is fairly long.” She then looks at me and says “No” with the biggest smile. That was the first time I saw her smile the whole time and it was when she was saying no to a customer… Is this real life? How rude can someone be… that’s what was running through my mind. She said “you can speak to manager. She there” So I turn to speak to the manager. The team member spoke to the manager in Spanish so I’m unsure what she said to her about my situation. The manager turns to me and asks “What was in your bowl” I tell her “It’s on the ticket”, as I couldn’t remember everything I ordered right in that moment but it was just on the lid of the bowl that I gave back to them… The manager proceeds to say “So there was nothing wrong with it…?” I said “Of course there was something wrong with it. I didn’t get what I ordered. What was in the bowl wasn’t what was on the ticket.” So she then asks again “What did you order?” I tell her my order including double honey chipotle chicken. Which I didn’t receive. The portions are small. Even when coming to get a new bowl after their mistakes… Then the manager asks “Anything else?” I respond “I had chips and the adobo ranch sauce.” She replies in a snarky manner “Was there something wrong with the chips too?” I’m in disbelief. Obviously nothing was wrong with the chips. What was i supposed to eat the chips with? AIR?! She says “I’ll replace the chips today but the chips there was nothing wrong with.” This cannot be real life. Theres no way you wouldn’t replace the chips when YOU MESSED UP THE BOWL THE CHIPS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE EATEN WITH. Mind you I gave them the original chips, sauce and bowl back because I wasn’t going to eat chips by themself OBVIOUSLY.
There was no regret in any inconvenience. I didn’t get one Sorry for the issue. Nothing. They treated me as if I went back there and made the bowl wrong myself. People are truly disgusting these days and this Chipotle is full of them. I will avoid it at all costs!! How unprofessional. When you mess something up for a customer you replace it with regret and apologize for inconvenience. You need training at this location starting with the Manager. No wonder the team members don’t know any better look at who they are learning from. Carina...
Read moreI had an incredibly disappointing experience at Chipotle recently, and I’m honestly left questioning whether I’ll ever return. To start, the portion sizes were shockingly small. I’ve been to Chipotle before, and while I know it can vary a bit, this was just unreasonable. My bowl was barely filled—there was almost no rice, very little protein, and hardly any toppings. It honestly felt like I was getting half of what I usually expect for the price.
But what really ruined the meal was the overwhelming amount of sour cream they piled on top. It was drenched, to the point where it was completely masking the other flavors. I’m a fan of sour cream in moderation, but this was just excessive. It made everything soggy and unappetizing. The sour cream completely took over the taste of everything else in the bowl. I couldn’t taste the rice, the beans, or even the meat. It was all just a soggy, creamy mess. I couldn’t even finish my meal—what should’ve been a satisfying dinner turned into a wasted experience.
For the price, I expect much more, both in terms of portion and quality. This was just a letdown on every level. I’m really disappointed, especially because I used to enjoy Chipotle, but after this, I’m not sure I’ll be coming back. It felt like they just didn’t care about the quality of what they were serving, and that’s not something I’m willing to...
Read moreI have tried the Lexington park, maryland, location three times in over a year. I don't plan on returning, to give any more chances, due to mainly they're extremely stingy with the ingredients, and the food quality is lacking extremely.
Even if you say you want, for example, two spoons of black beans, they will hardly give you one scoop and then look at you waiting for the next ingredient to be called. You have to keep saying no, extra beans please. And it goes like that for the whole order. Even if you say two scoops of x ingredient, that never happens unless you insist on it after the one scoop is applied.. It gets very annoying and tiring.
Because I love Chipotle so much, I tried to give it three chances since I've moved here, hoping for improvement. But every time the the rice is always under or overcooked, and twice they were unable to wrap it properly. Then look annoyed when you ask for it to be double wrapped
Also, the Coke from the dispenser tasted off (flat with a strange overall taste) and once I tried getting the custom juice in the other dispensers, and it had a funky taste to it. So,I suspect they don't clean their drink dispensers often enough.
Oh, and the one time I went late at night about 30 minutes before closing, they were scraping the bottom of every tray trying not to bring out new ones. It was a very bottom of the...
