I’ll start with the atmosphere, it was a small bar with a room off to the side with tables and chairs for more seating and entertainment. The crowd was very familiar, I assume they were regulars. We arrived early and it was barely Anyone there but as we got our crabs the place was filling up. Looks like people come right after work. That was cool, not my thing but it was a good laid back friendly atmosphere. Now the food was not good, however, The service was better than the food. The server was initially attentive. She was friendly, she brought our fries and salad to the table in a decent amount of time. We chatted with her about her St Patrick’s Day sweater and the decorations in the bar. She was nice… but the fries were cold and the gravy on the fries was colder. My salad was good but she did not bring any forks. We had to remind her to bring our drinks to us . For the forks and the drinks we had to get her attention which took a few minutes, to ask for eating utensils so we could eat our food. The fries were ok, the ones on the bottom were still warm. The salad was good. It came in a small plastic carry out clam shell. We ordered crabs. They were $90 a dozen for the large, and for the most part they were large! They were seasoned a little, which was ok. No corn on the cob, the server says they don’t have any. I asked for vinegar and butterr , the server said they did not have vinegar, but she brought us a butter. We open our crabs and find them to be watery. The meat was so soft and mushy. I asked to exchange them and the server brought the manager to the table, we showed him 4 mushy crabs , we were still eating, so the 4 mushy ones that we opened were what he replaced. I had 6 crabs, my friend had 6. I enjoyed two, the rest were garbage. Even the ones the manager replaced were mushy but I took the rest home with me so I opened them at home… it was a loss. By the way, the server charged us for two butters even though she only brought one, and she even charged for the vinegar even though she told us they...
Read moreIt was a deplorable experience & the worst establishment I've ever been in!!! My man & I went for dinner, neither of us had been there before. As soon as you walk in, there is mold along the bottom edge of the window sill. We walked in to a dark, run down open space. Everyone at the bar was drunk or on their way, the music was very loud, we sat at a table across from the bar. There was no server to come and take our drink order or give us a menu. My Man went to the bar to get a menu and he stood there almost 10 minutes as 2 bartenders continued to walk past him without stopping to assist him. The table was dirty, chairs were dirty. The entire bar was singing Lovers & Friends in unison! 😳 He finally gets a menu, and he was deciding what to eat. I asked him if he was really going to eat something from their kitchen. I told him this place didn't deserve his money. I told him I wasn't eating anything from their kitchen, the front of the house is disgusting, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. We got up and walked out, no one noticed, the manager didn't come to inquire why. We will NEVER go there AGAIN!! This place is ratchet and definitely not a place to go if you desire a great...
Read moreI naturally enjoy myself when I go to Corinthians. The atmosphere there isn’t forced, people genuinely speak to you. The prices are great, and the food is outstanding. About 3 times a week, after work, I eat-in, have a drink to decompress from the day and work on my writing. For the first time, I ordered the Seafood Salad (not the seafood salad you’re thinking about). NOOOO BOO (lol) This is a fresh garden salad with EVERY seafood your little heart could desire-Lobster, Shrimp, Scallop, Crab… OMG and do you see the size of that bowl.
On the right, I ordered ONE of my favs, the Crab Dip Pretzel. The pretzel is LOADED with a flavorful, not to runny dip and a ton of cheese and if you’re a cheese fan like I am, you know the more the merrier… Right?! Of course, no meal is complete without a “happy hour” Lemon Drop. Now listen… I know everyone can’t make a good lemon drop, especially for me. I like mine with a little more sugar than sour like myself…lol. I like my food, like I like my women, fattening, pleasant and satisfying. Corinthians nail...
