Wawa — Restaurant in Maryland

This is a bit of a mixed bag here. As usual, the food here is great. Overall quality is high and like most other Wawa locations the food is definitely the high point here. Unfortunately with this location, there are serious issues with the staff and overall customer service.

I'm generally willing to give the benefit of the doubt, however every time I've been here, there's been some sort of issue. For one, they never keep an adequate stock. They are always out of items, and some days half their selection is unavailable. This isn't acceptable for a restaurant chain.

Additionally, they also often miss items that I've ordered, sometimes something small like extra sauce or bacon, sometimes an entire item. It's frustrating because these are things I paid for. While I will definitely return to claim a missing sandwich, it simply isn't worth the effort to drive back because they forgot to add a piece of bacon I paid extra for. It's one thing if this was uncommon, but this sort of thing is frequent.

Lastly, the staff ( at least behind the kitchen ) is rude. They do very little to accommodate out of stock items that are listed as available, and seem to be quite annoyed by the fact that you ordered something. Once, my SO and I ordered something, paid for it, then went through a laundry list of all the things they don't actually have.

Overall, Wawa is fantastic. This location, not so much. If you can, use the Halethorpe location instead. The attitude is better, and they actually keep their items in stock. This location is way...

The gas station is great but it's usually very crowded. There are times I've had to wait in line to get gas. I've seen people argue over gas pumps. Typically the gas prices are cheaper at this location, which is probably why.The inside of Wawa is crowded as well, but unfortunately it is in need of repair. The bathroom usually has a leak. Overall, I wish the store and deli section were cleaner like it was during the first few years it opened. The food is great but the doors, equipment, counter tops (etc) need to be wiped down and the trash taken out more often. The spills need to be cleaned up and floors need to be mopped promptly. Because of these reasons, I no longer go to this particular location, unless I need gas or I happen to be in the area and it's not as crowded (which is never). 1 tiny ramekin of dressing for a salad is cheap! The individual packet of dressing has more dressing in it than the ramekin. Give us adequate dressing or go back to giving packs of dressing.

Update: PLEASE ORDER ENOUGH SAUSAGES FOR THE BREAKFAST SANDWICHES!!!! THIS LOCATION ALWAYS RUNS OUT! WE DON’T WANT HAM & TURKEY FOR BREAKFAST EITHER!! USE THAT MONEY FOR MORE SAUSAGES PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ANOTHER UPdate 7/13/2025: just cancel the delivery service from this location. They always mess up the order. Last order they gave the wrong size candy; before that gave spinach instead of romaine; before that gave a wrap instead of a tuna club sandwich; before that gave all items except my smoothies; and another time before that I never got my delivery order at all!
