LET me TELL you about Kyle! He was INCREDIBLY open to learning about cross contamination when making a gluten-free pizza for someone with celiac disease. I always order at the register and never use the app. It's just as easy for me to just wait the 15-20 minutes and add my receipt manually for points. Technology DOESN'T make life simple sometimes. Also, I never order for delivery with ANY place that offers this service, not just Domino's. You run the risk of issues. Back to Kyle... he went above and beyond, making sure all utensils, pans and knives were switched. Without asking, he washed/sanitized them all AGAIN and prepared my order in a lined, high-sided container to protect my order from making contact with gluten. He took it upon himself to open a new container of sauce. You know how they take the spoon to swirl the sauce on the crust?... well, the sauce on the counter was LOADED with gluten from previous orders.
Someone with celiac disease ALWAYS runs the risk of getting sick when eating out. I felt confident my once a year treat was safe because Kyle did an AMAZING job. Kudos! I'll definitely, be returning. One last bit... Kyle was the ONLY staff member on site after about 15 minutes. I asked why he didn't answer the phone, he said, I'm the only one here."
MANAGEMENT NEEDS to hire MORE STAFF!
Now, on to the next restaurant to educate them how to make celiac safe food. Hoping the next person I run into has the desire to help and understand this issue. It only takes one person to help bring...
Read moreThe manager, Kaylee wasn’t very pleasant. I ordered 2 pizza through the online app. When I arrived there was a pizza on the end of the oven. This pizza was hanging over some (pan pizza). After waiting about 3, a person from the back, Kaylee and I stated I’m here for 2 pizzas that ordered on line plus gave her my first name. She stated that she had to remake the other pizza because the one fell on the floor. She started removing the pan pizza from the pan into the box. I asked how long it will take for the other pizza, told 15 minutes. I said I wanted the pizza cooked to be remade because after waiting 15 minutes it will be cold. Kaylee said it would be place on the heating rack. I replied that the pizza will still be and eating a pizza sitting the heating rack wouldn’t taste good. She said I could just take that pizza and the other could be refunded. I wanted both pizzas ordered. To get both pizzas, it will take 30 minutes now. I told her I wasn’t willing to wait 30 minutes for 2 when she said 1 pizza will take 15 minutes. She explained that she was the only one there and she was in the middle of doing a delivery inventory. I said I wasn’t waiting 30 minutes and she replied fine and throw the pan pizza in the trash.
I will never order pizza from this Domino’s location. Poor...
Read moreI got to hand to my local Domino's Pizza that's located here in Pasadena. This place knows I work in the medical field & because of the Pandemic / Covid-19 we are all in Lockdown Mode. Because of the situation many people are Not working & then there are those of us as that has worked so many hours that I haven't been able to spend much time with my daughter. But here's the thing our little community Domino's Pizza took notice & I'm thankful that they did. Because the manager remembered I worked in a hospital & when I would call 10 minutes before closing, they didn't ignore my call instead they took my order knowing my order kept them at work past their closing time. but the fact is they went out of their way to make sure things were right the food was fantastic and the service was amazing ! It may not sound like much to some people, but me it meant a lot because it allowed me to have the extra time with my daughter that I haven't been able to have. I really appreciate that ... I'm taking the time tonight to tell my local Domino's Pizza.... Thank You , for going the extra mile. No matter what kind of work we do...just remember we are ALL IN THIS TOGETHER...& I really...
