Usually a pretty good experience. I'm not sure if the new tariffs have crab.Carry outs holding back on the beer and the old bay spice,when cooking our beloved crabs but the last two times I've gotten crabs from here it tasted like steamed fish with a little old bay on top., Please note if you are coming to.a Crab Carry out place in Maryland your customer is an avid crab-eater and will notice the difference .While the crab was of reasonable size, the experience was not top tier because it lacked flavorful spice and the sweetness that the beer adds to the crab. It was very obvious that old bay was sprinkled on top after the crab had steamed itself in water. Another tip*if you aren't going to use beer, use apple cider vinegar. Best crabs in town. I was away from MD for many years and since I've gotten back I crave crabs big time. I literally go here every single week (even all winter long) and am ALWAYS happy. Even in the winter, they have delicious and meaty crabs (just they domt get them out of the chesapeake bay). The one time they were out so I tried Joe's and the moment I picked up the bag, I was upset. I knew just by the weight that I was disappointed. Never again, ill wait day if I have to. Bot to mention the guys and gals that work there are always super friendly N they bust their butts bc they are always busy there but I love watching them. I've only tried them twice so far but I will most definitely be returning hoping the experience will continue to be the same or better. They have a 3 dozen mixed female special for $55 that they were running and for the quality I'd say it's worth it. ...and they GAVE me butter with my crabs. No place else I've been does this. Maybe only 6 of the crabs I tossed (which was fair considering other places I've experienced tossing the whole batch after paying 45 for a dozen) The overall experience again definitely makes it worth coming back.
