This was my first and last time getting food at 5th Ave Breakfast and Lunch. First, I was charged (.75 ) more than price online for two separate items. They do not have menus and were told prices are online. I told them that prices are inaccurate and not the same when order placed. The home fries portion is small- was told owner only wants them to give “one scoop” which seems equivalent to 1/4 cup size. I asked for extra onion which was equivalent to one ring of onion. They charge extra for jelly (.25) which they put on bread! Also if you select another type of bread, it is $1.00 more. I was okay with that. The omelette was skimpy and minimal ingredients used. Overall, the quality, quantity and being overcharged for items justified my negative review. I do not recommend and will not return nor recommend. The price may be cheaper but you get what you pay for. Check your receipt and compare...

The apple fritter was the highlight for me. They seemed to be in limited supply so maybe I got lucky that they were still in stock by the time I got there. The coffee is self serve from a pot of foldgers, which is just what I like anyway.
The people were lovely and I had fun banter with the woman at the counter. I'll be back...

Yes, you order and pay at the counter, but from then on it's like turning back the clock to a time when the meal placed in front of you was prepared by a loved one... someone who cared enough to give you the very best. If you head out looking for a new place to sit down to something different, give 5th Avenue a try. The only sad part in telling you this is I probably won't be able to get a seat because from now on you'll be in it. BUT, if you look around and see all the seats are filled and there's a guy smiling down at a steak, egg, and cheese bagel (with home fries, of course) you'll know I...
