Read moreI had the worst experience at this grocery store being checked out I was there on March the 13th and got checked out by young lady that was the manager with spending $270.64 and as quick as you are throwing all of the stuff I am not an octopus it is very rude for you to throw all of my products and then walk away and leave me standing there feeling foolish but you make sure that you get the payment and leave I see why the store was empty I see why your shells are fully stocked cuz no one shopping there this is the first and only time I've ever been in this store I will never return I know now why I only shop at Aldi's my husband wanted me to go to this store and he shops here for his job where he comes and buys for over 50 of his co-workers and I will never let him come here again to buy food for him and his co-workers never never again to be treated that way to be rushed and not get any help and to be left that way no I also work in a grocery store and that's not how you treat somebody no thank you and why is our name our full name on the bottom of the receipt I've never been given a receipt that has my first and last name on it, I hope nobody drops their receipt on the ground the way these thieves and scammers are somebody picks it up in the parking lot, do better you don't have to throw people's groceries you can help them bag it you don't have to rush and do all of that because of covid everybody's in a hurry you don't have to treat people like their nothing you can talk to people, it's your job to bag the stuff and communicate and smile and greet people and ask them did you find everything okay is this your first time shop in here or did you need help...
Read moreFirst off, I love Lidl. This is not my normal store but going in it was amazing. Loved the selection and both almost $130 worth of food when I only came for $30 worth of stuff. The selection was fantastic. That aside, whoever the cashier was at 3:15 on 8/5 was extremely rude to the customer ahead of me. The woman was overcharged and said "You overcharged me". The cashier's response to that was absurd. She started by saying "I didn't overcharge you, the computer did". Fine enough but she did not stop there. She started saying things like "I don't appreciate you accusing me of doing something I didn't do"... how is anyone to know you didn't do it on purpose and no one actually accused you personally of doing so. She only said you over charged i.e. your computer. Then she proceeded to say proudly, "Yeah, I'm the associate that talks back". This woman should not be in Customer Service if that is the way she responds to customers who simply say they were overcharged. I spoke with the lady in the parking lot and apologized for the cashier's behavior. I told her that she has every right to speak to a manager about it but she just wanted to go home and I don't blame her. Everyone is dealing with a lot right now and none of us deserve to be treated disrespectfully. FYI, cashier, you may have only been treating her like that but others were offended by it as well. I will probably stick with my local Lidl...
