Updated 5/19/23: Went again. Waitress Denise (owners list her name as Dennis in their system) was sincerely one of the best waitresses we've ever had. Extremely friendly, funny, caring, engaging, and attentive. We would have enjoyed her company if she sat down to join us!
The food was so delicious and the portions are enormous! I had blackened tilapia, broccoli, and lemon basmati rice. SO good! My wife had the mussels special and a side salad; the huge oval platter was overflowing with mussels, and she loved them.
I can't emphasize enough how you really must try Fisherman's Catch!
Ok. Force yourself to get over the stigma of eating dinner at the bowling alley! Nothing against bowling (I was in a league a time or two in my life). But this restaurant should be in your place to try even WITHOUT bowling. Plenty of parking, handicapped accessible, and I barely heard the crash of bowling pins.
Decor was nice, service was very fast and extremely friendly (thank you Miss Dee!), and the meals my wife and I had were VERY good. And the portions were LARGE.
We started off with Clams Casino. 6 to the plate, good size clams, and they were delicious.
My wife had fried butterfly shrimp with fries and broccoli. The worst thing I can say is that the fries were good. But the shrimp was extremely good, and the broccoli was steamed to perfection... tender, yet enough bite to not fall apart on your fork.
I had a side salad. It was ok. Needed to be spun dry as it was very watery. The balsamic dressing needed salt. Bur my main entrée was incredible. And a HUGE portion. I had blackened tilapia with broccoli. Two huge pieces of tilapia. Seriously, the fish lasted me 3 meals (and I'm a BIG eater). My only disappointment was that there wasn't any kind of rice in the menu, and that seems like the perfect accompaniment to broiled/pan-fried fish. White, brown, pilaf, fried with veggies... some kind of rice is a needed addition to the menu.
So to sum it up: WHOLE HEARTEDLY RECOMMEND! Try this place. Before ordering for the first time, I initially said to myself that I can't imagine eating meats/ribs here or Italian food as there are plenty of other great Harford County restaurants in that cuisine to choose from. But after seeing the quality and portion sizes with the seafood, I'm eager to go back and try ribs and...
Read moreAn excellent restaurant that is likely the most delectable food in Harford County. Do not be swayed away from one of the taste your meals you will ever have by the bowling alley that encircles it. I actually think it's a four and a half rating but that was not an option so I elected to go higher because I think they're worth the visit. My current go-to meal starts with crab imperial stuffed mushrooms that are small Slice of Heaven followed by the cheeseburger meal. I know, a cheeseburger? Since I'm on keto I am trying to avoid breads so I get it without the roll, which is tasty but a no-no. It's basically makes it a meatloaf without sauce. I like the cheese on it cuz it's just a tad moister and without. They also make it a well cooked meat in the sense that it is almost always perfectly done to how you asked for it to be cooked. We're not in the mood for that, I invariably get the salmon which seems to be poached in succulent as compared to most restaurants that grill it to a poor death and requires a sauce to liven it up. They also make a pretty yummy set of BBQ ribs! Do not get the cardboard Pizza. Not to disparage the bowling alley food prep area, that is separate from the restaurant food prep area, but I found this to be probably the most inedible pizza I have ever gotten out of a box or made by human hands. One last tidbit of information that is the door light I've nearly every visit is the vegetable of the day. This never changes and is always broccoli :-) I hope you take a try at this wonderful Institution as I have on many occasions. If you wish a little extra Delight to your evening you might want to try a Friday or Saturday when they have karaoke. To keep in mind that these people are out for fun and are not necessarily professionals. Although, at least half of them are a delight...

I just think its. It ok for customers to go back by the food and stay back there for a bit and come back out eating a fry. Like did you touch food did you cough or sneeze on my food...Then she let's her son run all.over the place hugging the other workers and random guests. She was yelling at her son the hole time but when she told him no 2 seconds later she is giving him what her kid wants. Smh. I just think its. It ok for customers to go back by the food and stay back there for a bit and come back out eating a fry. Like did you touch food did you cough or sneeze on my food hell did she make her food and then made my food and someone else's while she as back there.. idk if the health department know ransome people walk in the back and then kids are running around at 9pm.. but other then that it's...
