Five Star Pizza And Rice — Restaurant in Maryland

I have ordered from here twice, mainly because everyone deserves a second chance... The first time I ordered from here I waited almost TWO hours for my food! I called several times to check the status of my order, each time I was on hold for at least 15 minutes.. When my order finally came it was cold and they had even forgotten my drinks. I called to let them know but of course I was put on hold, so I clean up the food that I managed to pick at and I had forgotten I was on hold, I look at my phone and it had been FORTY FIVE minutes!! I hung up, called back and was asked to hold, but before I could be put on hold again I asked to speak to the manager ASAP. I had continued to tell him about my order hassle, the wait for the food, the wait on the phone AND that my order was not delivered entirely, I stated I had been on hold for forty five minutes and he told me his phone said the call was only two minutes... I was not offered a refund on my incomplete order (I would have paid for what had been delivered) I was only offered a "discount" on a dessert if I had ever decided to be a returning customer. I ordered food from here again and SURPRISE!!!! I waited OVER and hour for COLD food... The wings were awkward, mushy, breaded wings with a funky tasting "mild sauce".. As if that wasn't bad enough my sub was cold and had what appeared to be "grease pockets", I have never bit into a sub and got a burst of grease out of a piece of lettuce. I immediately had to get the taste out of my mouth before I vomited. I have no idea what there standard of food is, what there delivery time normally is but for $30 I could have made one hell of a better meal in a fraction of the time. I WILL never eat from this "five star" pizza and rice again, nor would I recommend it even to my worst enemy. Save yourself the hassle and order from Perry's, Domino's, Pizza Hut, ANYWHERE else.. I don't know what you eat, but I assure you it's not greasy. weird, cold or poorly prepared subs or wings. Unfortunately, the least amount of stars you can give is 1, but honestly I would give "Five Star Pizza and...

Ok, So I used to like the place and took my kids there all the time because its really close to home, (like walking distance!) and without a car if I was low on groceries or was just plain too tired to make breakfast or lunch for the kids, I would walk down there with them. Always had friendly service. The other day I was told I left the restaurant TOO messy (food on the floor... I have a 14 month old... duh) and they like my business but didnt like my mess. Well, part of working at a restaurant is cleaning isnt it? its not like i purposely threw stuff on the floor, I didnt even realize my daughter was dropping that much to justify this response. The restaurant looks clean when you go in. The Lamb and chicken over rice was delicious with the white sauce. The wings were good. The next time we ordered there we decided to try something else on the menu. The pizza was awful. It was more crust than anything else and the mushrooms I got on it tasted funny. We ordered cheese steak subs and they were okay. They put a lot of meat on their subs. They don't toast the rolls so they get really soggy. We ordered lettuce tomato and mayo on both. There was barely any lettuce or tomato on the sandwich (2 very thin slices of tomato and a few shreads of lettuce). I would order the things that I tried that I liked, but if I want pizza and subs I will go...
