Super Subs & Pizza — Restaurant in Maryland

So first off we ordered through the door dash app as they dont have a direct online ordering website. So I ordered my food, it came in a timely manner, but when I opened up the sub I ordered it was entirely wrong. So I called Super Subs directly to ask for a correct remake of what I ordered. I was then put on hold for several minutes only to be told I have to call Door Dash. I then asked to speak to the manager, who was conviently not at the store, but was informed if I brought the entire sub back I could get a new one made. Ok, so me and my boyfriend drive up to Super Subs, walk in and spoke to the woman at the counter, told her that I was who she just spoke with. She said ok and that it was going to take a few minutes to make the new sub. Ok that's all well and fine what happened next was absolutely ludicrous. A man making a pizza behind the counter came up to the counter and started yelling at us about having to make another sub and that it's not their fault that Door Dash called it in wrong. And why should they lose a sub when it's Door dashes fault. So firstly, no matter who the third party ordering system is through the incorrect item came from Super Subs. If Door dash called the order in wrong it is not my, the customer, fault and Super Subs should take it up with Door Dash. But, in any event, this employee of Super Subs continued to scream and yell at us about this sub that I had spent money on. So at this point, we are irate and I demanded my money back. Well unfortunately the manager still was not on site but headed up there to attempt to difuse the now extremely proggessed situation. Once the manager arrived he spoke to both me and my boyfriend. He did give us the money for our sub but he also tried to reiterate that it wasn't the fault of Super Subs. As a consumer I do not care whose fault it was, I just wanted the situation rectified. Eventually it was but not before we were treated with utter disrespect by a representative of Super Subs. And when I asked the manager of the establishment what was going to be done about the absolutely ridiculous employee he had on staff, he couldn't tell me. Also, as a side note, the dirty looking man that was making the pizza and screaming at me had cuts on his hands that were being covered only by blue painters tape and was not wearing any gloves. I will never provide my hard earned money to this...

Gee I guess I should start from the beginning. I placed a delivery order for 2 subs , 1 hamburger on kaiser roll and a cheeseburger on a kaiser roll . I placed my order at 7:45 pm at 8:45 pm I called to find out if our delivery was out on the road yet. The girl placed me on hold for approximately 5 minutes when she returned she said yes my order was on it's way it should be here any minute . 20 minutes later I get a phone call from the sub shop asking me if I am going to come pick up my pick-up order . I informed that I had just called and inquired about my order and that she had told me it was on it's way and the order was placed as a delivery order and the guy that took my order even repeated my address after me. She apologized and said she would send someone right over with it . 20 more minutes later our food arrived , it is now an hour and 40 minutes after I ordered the food , and the driver informed me the total would be $26.57 when in fact on the phone the guy that took my order said it was $25.67 , I wrote it down . So I take the food in the house , nothing was warm any longer and the hamburger patties were from frozen patties not fresh made burgers and you would think what I got charged for that food it should have been . This is about the 3rd time I have had an issue with this place and again you would think with all the sub shops in the area they would try to do a little better . I have been a customer of theirs for over 25 years and these past 3 orders taught me I need to go elsewhere . Customer service is not their...

Not bad pizza. . Great style and cheese. For some reason it is extra Hard on the acid reflux( harder than most pizzas ). Acid comes out of one end or The other every time we eat this pizza. It isn’t just me, a good amount of regulars say the same thing. Really rough on the digestion system. It’s the sauce imo. The crust is above average and very wholesome and natural tasting. No phony business here which is a plus. They cook it good most times but I’d like a little crunchier of a bottom to it. The cheese is fantastic I have to commend them there. The knock I have is that they use too much sauce and I’m not a fan of their sauce in general. Fries were average.

So my unsolicited advice is: change your sauce and put less on regardless of what kind of sauce, and cook it one or two extra minutes. That would give it a better crunch and a better balance. The thing I like about them though is the pizza thickness is perfect if you like ny style. Has a good body, perfect body, it just needs a tweak or two and it could be so much more. Not that it’s bad, Just giving my rating ..... 4 stars, can’t go anything over...
