Place is great as in customer service! The guy behind the counter is really nice! The chicken is not that good. It tastes burned as same goes with the rice and plantains I got. No real flavor for the chicken as its taste like the charcoal was sitting on the chicken. I eat Peruvian chicken twice at least every week, and compared to other places its really not that good from what I had which is what I usually get everywhere else. Sardi's, Crisp and Juicy, Lima Chicken, Pollo la Brasa in Catonsville are all better and that's just naming a few. I haven't tried the rest of the menu which might be better, but my experience with the chicken, rice, and plantains were not nearly as good as those places I named I bit earlier. I had to throw it away after just eating only half of what I got cause I couldn't stand the after taste and the burned smell. Also as I just finished eating and writing this review I had to go straight to...
Read moreFirst off the food here is great. No frills Peruvian style chicken and sides tucked away in a strip mall behind Giant. It is also very reasonably priced which is a rarity for the Columbia area. With that being said I would gladly pay more for such good food which is getting harder to find in this neck of the woods now that Luna Bella was closed ...let's not help mom and pop Kimco Corp. What compelled me to write this review however was the customer service. The prompt, respectful, and polite treatment I receive every time I visit is also another rarity in the age of Chipotle style dominated quick bite venues. I almost crapped my pants when the guy working the counter remembered my name and what I like...that goes a long way in my book. Stop by Meadows for ice cream after...where there is another business owner that lives and cares about...
Read moreThis can really be described as a hole in the wall with great food. Tried this months ago because I received a menu in the mail and it looked interesting. I've tried just about everything on the menu, my favorites are the chimichangas and the thai fusion burritos. The aguadito soup is yummy and awesome on a cold day. You can even get simple beans and rice and fried plantains and it will be good. It's all good. This has become my favorite place in Columbia to get food. It's simple, made fresh, and delicious. They are consistently good and the owners are so amazingly friendly. You can tell they have a passion for what they are doing. Even the cole slaw is good. Watch the green sauce....it packs a mean bite, but just like wasabi is to sushi...it just wouldn't taste the...
