La Trampita Restaurant — Restaurant in Maryland

I don't do food reviews normally unless the experience was extraordinarily bad. This is one of these restaurants. The Carne De Cerdo Adobado was dryer than a tumbleweed. The texture felt like bark with how badly they scorched the meat. It was also pathetically and unevenly seasoned. The amount of food was also unacceptable and the price being $20 is outrageous. And what are with the reviews on Google reviews? They look like bot reviews because they make no sense. My colleagues opted for the nearest Taco Bell because that's how bad the enchiladas were. That's unacceptable for a Mexican restaurant to be beaten by trash b grade fast food. Do not go here for food. Your taste buds and wallet...

I searched for restaurants near Sam's Club in Severn. Found this place with a 4.7 rating and few reviews. Took a chance.

Super friendly staff. As I was handed a menu I asked the lady behind the bar what's good and she named my favorite, Carne Asada with rice and beans... I handed the menu back with a YES. It was delicious. Pork seasoned nicely. I added some Chile Habanero sauce and went to town on the corn tortillas and mixing pork with the rice and beans.

First time here today. I’ve been wanting Mexican food for SO long. But #1 it’s construction being done in the main entrance so it was very confusing on where to go. Almost left. #2 the food honestly was just ok. I’ve had great Mexican food! But this place just didn’t hit the spot like I thought they would with the good rating. So definitely a miss...
