Lisa's Deli — Restaurant in Maryland

As a Harford County native I grew up with Sam’s Delicatessen at my doorstep, truly believing that they offered the best Italian cold cut sub in Maryland. Now don’t get me wrong, it’a amazing and should be experienced by all, but today I stumbled across Lisa’s Deli while in the area and ordered an Italian cold cut with everything and my life has changed. Upon the first bite, I felt an overwhelming sense of euphoria stemming from my tastebuds and spread throughout my whole body. The flavor, the meat to bread to fixings ratio, the bread itself, all perfection. I’m not ashamed to say that I cried in my car in the parking lot. Happy tears. I will be telling everyone I see for the rest of the week just how amazing that sub was regardless of if they asked or not. This place was recommended to me for a great sandwich which is exactly what I had a taste for! I walked in and had no idea what to order but the lady working there, who I think was the owner Lisa, told me the Italian coldcut was the most popular. I ordered it exactly the way it came. It was actually one of the best ones I've ever had. Italian coldcuts can be tricky to me bcuz you need to have a good ratio of meat vs fixings/toppings. This place got it right. This is one of the most amazing hidden gems in Pasadena!!!!! The sandwiches were beyond amazing! This was my first time at the shop and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming! It felt like being home! The selection was fantastic and the quality of food is better than all the chains in the area!
