I love giving small businesses great reviews and normally if I have a bad experience I don't say anything due to the fact that everyone and every business has a bad day; I respect that and would like the same courtesy. It really sucks having to say something but I've seen and heard things that really need some attention. We've all seen the reviews and heard that employees are not treated well but I didn't really believe it until I saw it myself. The way the young girls who were trying their best (and honestly doing a great job) were treated by the manager was awful, truly disgusting. Previously, like other patrons, I have experienced the rude responses to email and in person inquiries but I kind of thought it was just an overwhelmed small business owner because they were doing so great but unfortunately I now think that like others have mentioned the owner or manager is just not a nice person. I genuinely hope that this and other similar reviews help promote positive change in this workplace because their small business is great otherwise and a wonderful addition to the community....

My mom and I went to this shop today to order cupcakes and lunch. I wanted to try them out for my son’s first birthday. I ordered what I thought was 3 cupcakes and a piece of cake and my mother ordered our lunch. All together is was almost $50. We waited for over a half hour for our food. Then a lady that works there came up to us and said they lost the ticket and said sorry. We waited a little longer people before us came and went. Then finally we received our food. I went out to my car and found out we received the wrong sides to our meal. Got home and realized they gave us the wrong desserts. The cupcakes were terrible: dense (frosting/cake) and bland. So needless to say I will not be ordering birthday cupcakes or returning to their store. Poor customer service; not caring to make a problem they caused right. The entire experience was awful and I felt like I wasted my time and money. Not how a small business...

After visiting 3 times, it’s been mostly ok but not great. Tried a breakfast sandwich but the wait for 2 was over 20 minutes with no other breakfast sandwiches ahead of me. The plain cheesecake was good but had chewy lumps, the chocolate doughnut was good but I prefer traditional yeast or cake doughnuts. Not really a fan of brioche doughnuts. The other display items behind the counter are a bit hard to see (if you buy based on the look of the item and not the name).

The chocolate pound cake was dry but the frosting was tasty. The cinnamon rolls are similar to flaky pastry, not the yeast roll I was expecting. The lemon cream cupcake was delicious, the cake was so moist. The last item I purchased was this red velvet cheesecake slice. Unfortunately, the cake was incredibly dry.
