I am very sad Asian Nails was sold to new people. The previous people were hidden gems, they really cared about quality, I was a regular with them and I recommended them to everyone I knew. They were clean, extremely friendly, great customer service, happy calm atmosphere, and I was always extremely pleased with the quality of my nails. They always spoke English in front of you even if you werent part of the conversation and you felt very welcomed like long lost family.
Since Yen sold and left I gave it a try but will not be returning. A few weeks ago I was unhappy with my gel manicure. The color needed another coat and it peeled within a week. I decided to give them a second try. A young man working there, who I suspect doesnt have a licence because he didnt seem to know what he was doing, gave me a very painful pedicure. He hurt me several times with the tools and files. A few of my toes are still red and painful! Then he painted so messy polish was all over my skin! Another person there chose horror films to watch on the main TV while he was not tending to costomers. The TV choice is the least important problem, but it speaks to the lack of care for customers who dont likely want to watch horror movies while trying to relax.
It is still very clean. The sister and neice of the owner are sweet and friendly. However, I will not return after having the...
Read moreI do not typically leave reviews. I am giving 2 stars because Ashley was great and did my manicure very well & it only took her 30 mins. However, I was booked at 2:30pm for a mani pedi & did not leave the salon until 4:30pm. I would honestly not be complaining if my pedicure service was good, but the lady who did my pedicure did not ask me a thing. I was sitting in the chair for about 20 minutes waiting after my manicure when she came over and started, did not ask me what service I wanted. She started cutting my toe nails, I asked her not to and she tried to cut them at least 3 more times throughout the process. I had to ask her to stop each time since my toe nails are already very short. They also charge $5 extra for a cut down, so I did not need or want it. The pedicure itself did not include any massaging of my feet or removal of any dead skin from my feet/exfoliating my feet, which is half the point of a pedicure. The woman scrubbed my legs down with an exfoliant and then washed off, drained water and did a massage for 2 minutes. Very disappointed with...
Read moreI have been coming to this location for over 6 years. I have seen it switched ownership 3 times. I figured I would give it a try since the new owner seem to have invested in updates and new colors of polish. The first time I got a regular manicure and I liked it. The second time, I came because since I moved, the place I normally go to was booked with a long wait. I needed a fill in and wanted an ombré with pink and white. What I got was thick lumpy fill-in’s and an over done sloppy overdone pink n White French with 1/2 of my nails while sponged over pink. I went to my regular place the next day and need to have all of my nails taken off. They couldn’t fix them. I paid $28 for my fill in and cut down plus an extra $10 for the “ombré”. My only recommendation would be, if you cannot do something or don’t know how, be honest. Don’t charge for entry...
