I love to support Small Business so I called and placed my order and she said see you when you get here and hung up on me..,before I could ask how long it might take??..so I called back and I was put into vm and then the automated message stated there is no vm option and then hung up? After calling back 5 times I got the same person and I explained to her that I called 5min ago and kindly asked how long the order might take and she responded, “ Baby, you know we rocking and rolling, it’s Sunday, phones ringing and when you called back, you got vm so you know we busy.” I never said anything about me calling back, so how did she even know?? Then I kindly asked if I could get a estimate and she said it will probably ready when you get here or you may have to wait 10-15min, we busy! All I wanted to know is how long my order may take and I got a vm Serv that doesn’t work and a attitude/lecture for asking. I highly recommend customer service/conflict resolution!training for this location. The ROI on this training will be more than worth it as I’m sure I’m not the first or last person that has experienced this level of service. Other than that, the food was ready when I got there and the food is consistently good. They just need to make some adjustments during peak to also include...

Very horrible service today. I've been here numerous times, and no complaints, but today was different. It's been awhile since I've dined in, so the sign said pls seat yourself. My sister , and I ordered, and decided we would eat in. I asked the lady behind the window if we could seat ourselves. She was a bit rude and said you suppose to speak with the waitress on the side. I just looked at her. With a little of an attitude, she said well you have to take the small table against the wall. Ok we did that as well. Now we've waited for 37 minutes for our food, the waitress never uttered a word to us no hello or nothing. The food was cold and we saw smoke coming from others plates. The waitress dug in her nose 👃 and scratches under her arm pit. When she realizes I was looking at her. She gonna say huh were you talking to me ? I will never patronize this establishment again. And they always hollering support black businesses. Yeah right !!!...

I’m from Ohio and by a random selection decided to go to Mrs. K’s for breakfast. What a great choice! The French Toast was hands down the best I’ve had and for those who know me will say I’m not impressed easily when it comes to food at restaurants. I’m sort of a food critic lol :) I also had the Fish (Whiting) and grits. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned to my liking.

Yes, it is a smaller dining facility but not too small when I think of a diner back at home. Most diners are not necessarily on a large scale in terms of size. I would also like to say it’s not the best looking building from the outside but don’t let that stop you from going in and enjoying a good meal.

All in all, great experience and wish we had a Mrs. K’s back at home cause I would eat there often. I don’t usually post reviews but this is one where I want to give credit where it is due. You won’t be...

Invited to breakfast to try something new. We enjoyed a delicious brunch/breakfast experience, which included a Ruben, french fries, French toast, scrambled eggs, turkey, bacon, orange juice, and the best water I’ve ever had. The portions were big enough for us to share everything And take home. Self seating, outstanding service (our server had on a facemask, hairnet and gloves). The door kept opening from people coming to sit in the dining room, or pick up orders, so I figured we were in good hands. Depending on what part of the city you’re in it’s about an hour drive but it’s definitely worth it. When you pull up, don’t be thrown off by the hole-in-the-wall appearance. Everything we ordered was hot and fresh. Next time I think I’ll add the pancakes and corned beef hash.

This spot has been on my “to do” list for awhile and since I just moved to md, I finally got to try it. Definitely worth the wait! Everything we had was great. It’s a no frills, great food spot! While we got there about 10 on Sunday it wasn’t super busy but crowded. There was a wait. We were acknowledged and brought drinks. There seemed to only be one person waiting tables but she was fantastic - personable, attentive, and courteous. The guy who started helping was friendly and helpful as well. The only real complaint was the parking as the lot is small and by time we were leaving it was exceptionally crowded and people were parking anywhere, blocking people in. Outside of that - I loved it! Oh that bacon was the thing of dreams!!!!

Needed to catch up with a friend and we chose here for breakfast. Arrived 10am and was no more than 2 other people in the dining area. William got our drink orders and checked up on us periodically. The food was good. I wish I was hungrier cause the menu had some great choices. I ordered the silver dollar and corn beef hash, friend ordered Strawberry pancakes, over easy eggs and bacon. The portions were great size for the prize, I mean look at the picture of bacon. Would definitely tell you to order from here.
