Kitchen No 1 — Restaurant in Maryland

I would give them ZERO stars if I could. I had 5 orders. FIVE. EVERY single order had chicken in it, and the chicken had a rubbery taste and feeling. Specifically the sesame chicken had a syrupy after taste. All noodles tasted watered down. The lady who answered said, they boil their chicken. I don't care how they cooked it, it taste like rubber. PERIOD. ALSO, she said she had NEVER heard anyone complain about their food before... UM, She needs to read these yelp reviews. Seriously, just skip this place if you're considering ordering! Five orders, FIVE people, and My order consisted of:

2X Sesame Chicken 1X Chicken Fried Rice 1X Chicken & Broccoli 1X Chicken Lo Mein

THEN, upon CALLING them immediately after we took our first bite of food, they told me I had to come IN, in order for them to give me a refund. Um, WHAT? You don't need my card to charge it, but you need my card to put it back on..? And, they wanted me to BRING the food too? They wouldn't even send their driver to come back to get the food either. Um.. not in 2017. They can put my money BACK on my card. My car is in the shop which is why we ordered delivery. Even still, there is NO way they're putting ME to work for THEIR mistake of BADLY cooked food.

I normally ONLY leave a review if I had a good experience to support the business... but... this was SO bad. I HAD to write a review to keep anyone else from having a bad experience.

PS. I also complained to the BBB, the Health Department, AND the FTC... yes, it was THAT bad. Food...

Worst customer service ever. Second time my family ordered delivery and they forgot an item, again. They wanted to give store credit for the next time we ordered, but we wanted the item with our meal. First they tried to say that if I wanted it, I would have to come get it myself or just get store credit. When I insisted that they send the item they forgot, they then started to insist that they included the item. I had to argue with the manager! She refused to believe that they forgot to put the item in with our food! SHE YELLED AT ME OVER THE PHONE! My family and I were furious at the treatment, so we took all of the food back to the restaurant for a refund. They COUNTED and checked all of the food, and STILL charged us for an eggroll and some crab rangoons! There was no apology at all, and when I asked if they were just going to continue to ignore me asking for the owners phone number, the lady in the back looked me in the eye and said, "YES!" I DEMANDED the owners phone number and the manager (same lady who yelled at me on the phone) told me that she doesn't have the owners phone number. She had been there for 2 years and he had only shown up to his own restaurant one or two times. I have never had such horrible customer service. They kept talking about us in Chinese and snickering at us in our faces! Absolutely ridiculous. And all for the some...

If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would! Let me start by saying that I only went to this carry-out because of the good things I heard but was super disappointed and did not even get to try the food. I called in my order to avoid having to wait and when I received my food the order was incorrect. Now the woman who was at the front told the rude “cook” that I requested my sauce on the side, which I clearly stated on the phone. She tells him multiple times and he comes out with the wrong order still trying to add sauce on the side as if I wasn’t going to notice it was incorrect. I open my box in the store and he instantly gets an attitude. I proceed to tell him this is not what I ordered and instead of offering to recook my food he immediately and in a very rude manner tells me he is giving me my money back. Now I did not have an issue with this because at this point I am not interested in eating at this establishment but you do not treat your customers in the manner that he did. This was absolutely the WORST service I have ever received in my life!! And to top it all of the man had the nerve to throw my money through the this small hole instead of handing me my money like a mature adult and business owner. I will NEVER eat here and I do not recommend anyone seeking quality service as well as food eat...
