UPDATE: 1/10/25 I gotta say Oscars Ale house does not disappoint when it comes to bread pudding! My wife and shared this dessert and wow was it good. It just the right amount of sweet, soft, and creamy. Everything you want in a bread pudding. The scope of vanilla is the perfect amount for two.

This place has the best burgers in town. The atmosphere is great. Easy going, great for sports and a date night. If you want beer, this is the place for you. If you have a good burger, this place has you covered. If you chicken wings, again this is the place to be. My wife and I eat here just about once a week. The service is perfect along with the food. Recently I had the Philly cheesesteak burger special and I have to say I was impressed by the flavor and the creativity of the item. The price is just right for what you. They also change the burger special weekly. So you never know what you’re going to get out of their special. We hosted a Baby Sprinkle Brunch at Oscar's yesterday, and it could not have gone smoother. Reserving the space with Drew was easy, the planning was made simple and the staff was ready for us when we arrived to decorate the sunroom where the event was held.

It was explained to the staff that we would have up to 35 people, which included 10 children, aged 9 years old to 1 year old. They were very good natured amongst the kaos and burst balloons! :) Drew and our bartender, Adrian helped decorate. Adrian also was attentive to all the bar needs, served and cleaned up throughout the event. An additional server was assigned to our group and she was wonderful too.

They even printed out the event menu and placed them at each of the dining spaces! Oscar's thought of every detail.

The food was prepared so all could be served at the same time, so it was a bit of a wait. However, once it arrived there were generous portions and the usual high quality we have experienced before at Oscar's.

We will definitely plan another gathering at Oscar's Waverly...

Jewel of a family style American restaurant that is in their Woodstock location. Location: lots of free parking close by. Atmosphere- regular dining and separate area that could easily accommodate private groups. We had the patio side dining space pretty much to ourselves on a weekday evening. They also have a covered open patio area with a lovely partial view of the golf course near by. Service- one person was assigned to our group of twelve. She was very accommodating, handling separate checks and made sure the kitchen had two special diets prepared and gluten free. She was awesome. Food- was delicious, didn’t see much left overs on people’s plates. The burgers looked juicy and well stacked with their fixings and they make their own house sauces. Salads looked well composed with fresh local ingredients. Prices- reasonably priced and easy to read. Wide selection of daily and weekly specials. Could easily see this becoming a locals favorite place to grab a meal or quick business...
