worst pizza company ever
I for one, was a loyal and committed customer, here at Papa Johns in Fort Washington. However, a few weeks back I had THE most unfortunate situation with this location. My ordeal took exactly 3 hours to receive my order, adding an unnecessary 2nd delivery.
It started when I decided to have pizza with my niece and nephew who were visiting me that day, I used the Papa Johns App to order my pizzas and dessert, along with a bottle of Pepsi Soda. Within minutes, I received a notice that my order has been received and that my order was being made. About 15 minutes later, I received another noticed indicating that my order was now, en route to my address. From the time I received the initial notice to the time my nerves began to twitch, mind you this is 2 hours now since I began this order.
I called the business and I spoken to the manager. According to him, the delivery man had confirmed that he has already delivered my order to the specified address. At that moment, I was swelling with frustration and confusion for the very fact I have been standing at my front door for the past hour and a half, staring out at the front street with no sign of pizza or papa johns or anything in that nature.
I calmly attempted to explain that no such pizza has been received and that NO SUCH Pizza Courier of Papa John's has interacted with me in the last hour. Which can only explain that your delivery person is LYING!
The manager then ACCUSES me of not being in the correct address, he had the audacity to ask, " Are you sure you're even in Fort Washington"? "Maybe you're not at the right address, because my guy said he handed it to you."
The manager then later to discovers that my order was delivered, but to the house next door. Obviously, reading numbers is hard especially for Papa John's delivery service.
The manager in question promised to compensate me for this error which is 50% off my next order but i doubt I'll ever return to this business to...
Read moreThe store staff beyond the driver I met were rude and disrespectful. I don't typically order from Papa John's anymore, but its close to the holidays so felt like a treat.
The pizza took an hour to arrive. I used my points for a 10.00 credit- my balance for thr driver would have still been 23.00 not including tip. We call the restaurant and the person on the phone NYA (if that's her name was incredibly rude and disrespectful because I called to question the order regarding the "new" total of $56.00. Calling to add 2 sauces should not increase a total by almost 20.00. She refused to adjust the price that was originally send witg my online order. Slammed the phone and said call corporate..So, in turn I handed the driver the pizza and chicken bites to return to the store. He even texted me personally a few moments later to apologize twice for how they were so rude and handled the order. Please note: The manager Matthew supposedly wanted to send the driver back with the same, cold pizza complimentary. n Not to be funny but to me this is not a full resolve.
The customer service at this location is horrible. For almost 60.00 on pizza, I would expect better. Going forward we will just order from Topilinos, & pizza or one of the other local pizza places that value our money and respect us as patrons. Pass on...
Read moreInterim Review As of May 2020: Although I have not yet been able to visit here in person, I called here very recently to verify their address. The Gentleman/Employee I spoke with was very kind and patient with me and he helped me save a lot of wasted time because I wanted to go to the Restaurant as close to my home as possible and especially due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic related Stay At Home Orders now in affect in my area. I really appreciated this employee taking the time to make sure I got everything I needed and this is one of the primary reasons I always try to first call a Business I have never been to before. I now know that the way I'm treated during a phone call is a very strong indication as to how I will be treated in person. So I will not show up if I'm treated badly via telephone.
