I love Harmony Hall, it's a beautiful and underrated (and unkept) NPS site in Prince George's County. The Want Water ruins are some of the oldest in the DC area, and the canal is one of the oldest in the country. The grounds are lovely in every season, and due to its low key nature there's hardly ever other people there. Highly recommend for a sunset picnic facing the woods/river 🧺!
Parking: You do have to park at the Regional Center and walk in, unfortunately there's no set trail and litterbugs frequent the area.
It needs repair, and hopefully the restoration plans once enacted will leave it open to the public! Worth visiting especially...

The house, stable, and little barn are beautiful. You can only walk around the outsides. The insides are not preserved. The property is gorgeous with nice view of the Potomac!
