Pizza Man — Restaurant in Maryland

I accidentally ordered a pizza from this location. The location I originally wanted to order my pizza from was the Pizza Man at 1504 Reisterstown Rd., in Pikesville. I’m from New York, their Pizza 🍕 was delicious. The service at the Pikesville location is awesome. You can see and taste the care they put into their food. With REAL cheese melted. Taking a bite, the cheese pulled away looking 👀 like chewing gum.

The Pizza Man at 7029 Liberty Rd., location was awful. No pull away cheese, 🧀 just a big lump of unmelted something that wasn’t worth trying to consume. I haven’t had pizza 🍕 this bad in years. The cheese was brownish because the cheap cheese that was being used, barely melt.. I knew when I looked at the pizza that I wasn’t gonna like it. I even said something to the woman that gave us the pizza. I got the pizza anyway and regrets it after one bite. Anyone with pride in the food you’re serving people would have never served that pizza to anyone. Regardless of the neighborhood you’re serving. People spend money for good “quality” food 🍱 and service. Nothing more, nothing less.

The crazy thing is when I realized I ordered the pizza from the wrong location, I was so tempted to keep driving and order my pizza from the Pizza Man location in Pikesville. My son’s and I brought a couple of pizza’s from them two weeks ago and I really enjoyed it. My son and I was hungry after running around all day. This was our first time trying this pizza place, and my fiancé and I were very underwhelmed. First issue was that, even though I checked the box saying to leave the order at my door, and left detailed instructions on how to get into our building, the driver still called me saying he would be here soon and told me to come meet him at our building door. What’s the point of giving an option to leave the order at the door, if it’s not something you’re going to do either way? Next, when we brought the order inside, we noticed our pizza was made incorrectly. They ended up bringing another one, but I was told it would be 10-15 minutes, and it took an hour. We ended up not liking the pizza anyway, so if we knew it was going to be that long, I would have told them not to come and would have just ordered something from somewhere else. I also ordered bacon cheese fries, which I assumed was going to be fries topped with melted cheese and bacon bits. Instead, the fries were absolutely slathered in nacho cheese, and had some large chunks of bacon mixed in. They didn’t look very good, but I tried them anyway, and they honestly tasted like a factory. I recently tried this place since its a holiday weekend and didn't want to cook. My overall experience was pretty decent. The customer service was good and taking into account where this location is, it was clean inside. With this being my first time here, I decided to play it safe and order an extra large cheese pizza. My order was complete in about 20 minutes and the pizza looked delicious, I couldn't wait to get home and dig in. Let me just say, the pizza was very bland, the sauce had no flavor at all and I'm not a fan of government cheese. They did have a variety of other food, so hopefully the other menu choices have more flavor. However, I will not try my chances with this establishment again.
