This is an Updated Review and Rating as of August of 2020: I visited this Popeyes again very recently in the hopes that my experience would be better than it was the first time I was here about a week ago. My experience during this visit was Amazing starting with the fact that as soon as I pulled up to the menu board, I was greeted by the very friendly voice of a young Lady asking what I wanted to order. This Lady, who I will now refer to as my Server during this visit, was kind enough to advise me what menu items were no longer available because they had sold out of them earlier in the day. Because I know how busy this location is, I can totally understand how they can sell out of some of their food items especially now since a lot of folks, including me, are cooking a lot less at home due to COVID-19. I appreciated the fact that I was informed by my Server about what was and was not available and I really appreciated the fact that my Server Suggested some substitute items I might like to try including their Chocolate Cream Pie, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, and Sweet Heat Sauce. While I was still at the Menu Board, I asked my Server was she a Manager because of how professional and caring she is and she told me she was not a Manager. As a compliment to her in regards to Her Excellent Customer/Customer Care Etiquette/Skills, I told her that I think she is a future Manager candidate and that I hope she is considered for that position in the future. I got a chance to briefly chat with the Manager on Duty too just before I left the window, and he was very nice. After I got my order, I decided to eat some of my Green Beans and Mashed Potatoes. And OMG❗, I could not believe how incredibly good they both tasted. In fact I almost got back in the Drive-Thru line to order them again. And that Sweet Heat Sauce? I now totally understand why folks have been raving about it and it is so good that in my opinion, Popeyes should consider selling it by the bottle in as many sizes as possible including travel sizes. I even buy Sweet Heat Merchandise if they ever sold it, especially a Baseball Cap and/or Popeyes Sweet Heat Face Mask. I'm going to send these suggestions to their Corporate Offices asap. I obviously enjoyed my 2nd visit here and I now look forward to coming back here again. Please Note: I forgot to mention in my first review that my Server during that visit was very nice and I liked it when He told me to enjoy the rest...
Read moreI'm at the point where I'd really like to know what purpose does these Google reviews serve?! I picked up a four piece meal spicy from the Indian Head Hwy Popeyes. Manager, Ms. Kris...she's had the same unapproachable, snappy, mean spirited and dismissive attitude and demeanor for well over twenty years now, since I was old enough to walk to this location. Ms. Kris for whatever reason(s) is always unnecessarily rude and dismissive, especially if you speak nicely to her or Good Lord forbid you have a question 🤐😟! Customer service is a difficult and demanding job, I know it because I've been doing Customer service for almost 25 years, and although you don't have to love your job you should try and find a way to like enough to deliver the basics. I took a eight month hiatus and came back to the exact same treatment. I'm not asking for 5⃣ or even 4⃣ star service, I'm asking for respect and to be treated at least somewhat like I'm a 20+ year Customer. I'm paying someone to make me feel upset and embarrassed 😳. The dinner BTW was fresh, but half cooked and totally not spicy, the biscuit was demolished because apparently it was the first thing placed in the box🤦🏾♀️, the fries were good and Kris yelled "NO" to a biscuit in place of a drink. Ladies and gentlemen, AVOID INDIAN HEAD HWY POPEYES, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE ANGER ISSUES AND/OR YOU'RE OUTSPOKEN!!!I'll stick with Malcolm X location, far better service and...
Read moreThe problem in these restaurants is that the cook in this restaurant is doing her job, the chickens are ready, the packages are ready, the biscuits are ready, but there is no servant of God to put them all in a box and give it to the customer. Anyone who sees the customer runs away to the kitchen. No one says why you came to the customer, why did you come to help me, you say, they don't see you, there is no one at the counter. And in the meantime, they are cleaning, the customer is waiting, send the customer first, then do your cleaning. Order placed 35 minutes ago, I go in 15 minutes, I'm leaving in 15 minutes, I'm waiting there for 15 minutes, but I can't get it, I cancel and I'm coming. Is there such a business understanding that the customer doesn't eat for free here, they make a privilege to keep the package. What's wrong with those who want this package? they can watch their own mistakes if they watch the daily readings they will learn...
